Open this link in your PC browser. https://bestow-regional.api.smartthings.com/invite/adMKr50EXzj9 2. Log in your SmartThings Account. 4. Click "Enroll" --"Available Drivers" -- "Install" to install the device driver as needed. 5. Reboot your SmartThings hub by powering it off and power it on again. 6. "Scan for Nearby Devices" in SmartThings App to pair the THIRDREALITY devices with your SmartThings hub. Q3 I have purchased a smart blind through Amazon, install the batteries and found the blind can not be powered up. Please DM us or contact us via support@3reality.com with your order number. Q4 When adjusting the Smart Blind for open and close, it does not stop as expected when it hits the window sill, and keeps on trying to go further until it is fully extended. Is there something I can do to correct this or is this blind not working correctly? Move the blind fully closed and reopen it again, to see whether it can stop as expected. 1: Make sure you close the blind by move it all the way up (fully closed), so it will hit the upper sensor to reset the zero position. 2: When you move the blink down, can you use your hand or something a hard surface to push the bottom sensor? To see whether you can stop the blind? (you can use your hand to push the sensor to see it action with your hand push or not, sometime it will stuck there and you can use little force to push it back on track). 3: What is the size of your blind? We can send you a replacement if you cannot fix it by a hard push. No need to worry your windows to too thin since once the bottom sensor is pressed, it will remember it and always stop there in future runs. Q5 I'm installing your blinds inside the window framework. Once the blinds are snapped in place, brackets overhead, how can I remove them if necessary without damaging the blinds? Please check this video on how to install and remove the Smart Bind. https://youtu.be/68n1JROqQyA Q6 The smart blind can not be paired with the Echo device. (1)The smart blind is compatible with Echo Plus V1 & V2, Echo Show 10 Gen2 and Gen3, Echo Studio and Echo V4. (2)First try to unplug the power and plug it back in to reboot the Echo device, then pair the smart blind with the Echo device again. (3)If rebooting the Echo device does not solve the problem, please factory reset the Echo device. Press and hold the action button for 25 seconds, the light ring turns into orange pulse and then turns off, wait for the light ring turns back on and turns blue, then it will turn orange again, now it's in setup mode, and you can pair the smart blind with it again. Q7 The smart blind is unresponsive after pairing with an Echo device. (1)Check the LED indicator status of the smart blind, blinking once every 3 seconds meaning it is offline. If the Echo device is offline, reboot it by unplugging and plugging it back in, then reinstall the batteries of the smart blind, then pair the smart blind with the Echo device again. (2)Check the Wi-Fi connection of the Echo device to see if it is offline. (3)If it still doesn't work, sign out and back in to your Alexa account on your Echo device, then pair the smart blind with it again. Q8 Switching the operation direction Is your smart blind opening when you want it to close? Or closing when you're trying to open it? Press UP button and wait for the smart blind moves down to fully extend to the maximum height of 72", it will continue to move up to the highest position, now you have successfully changed the direction of operation. Q9 When paired with Third Reality hub, why can not control the smart blind on the Third Reality app by pressing the UP button? Why can not control the Smart Blind to fully close by dragging the progress bar to 0% in Third Reality app? If the smart blind is not at the top position namely the 0% position before pairing with Third Reality hub, after pairing the smart blind can not be controlled in the Third Reality app by pressing the UP button. First press DOWN button in Third Reality app to let the smart blind go down, then press UP button to let it go up to the top position. Or you can press the UP button on the Smart Blind or that on the remote to move the Smart Blind to the top position, then the Smart Blind is at the real 0% position, you can use it in Third Reality App flawlessly. Q10 Set 100% position for the smart blind. 1 What is 100% position of the smart blind? When the Third Reality smart blind is paired with an Echo V4 or SmartThings Hub 2018, in the progress bar of the smart blind in the App, 100% represents the preset lowest position the smart blind can travel down when you press the DOWN button on the smart blind or the remote. Sometimes it could be reversed that 0% represents the lowest position, it depends on what hub is paired with. 100% position can be set freely as needed whenever the bottom sensor of the smart blind is hit while it travels down. 2 Set 100% position for the smart blind paired with the Echo V4 When the smart blind is paired with the Echo V4 for the first time, press the UP button to move the smart blinds to the highest position of 0%, so that the 100% position can be set more accurately. Press DOWN button, the smart blind moves down. You can touch the bottom sensor with your hand to stop it, now you have set this position as 100%. To reset 100% position to a higher position, press UP button to move the smart blind up higher above the desired 100% position, press SETTING button to stop it, press DOWN button to move it down, touch the bottom sensor with your hand to stop it, now you have set this position as 100%. To reset 100% position to a lower position, when the smart blind stops at the present 100% position, press DOWN button twice to move the smart blind down, stop it by touching the bottom sensor at the desired position, or just letting it hit any surface like the window sill. Q11 I just bought a Third Reality Hub. Added it to the Third Reality app. Added 5 Third Reality blinds. They all work in the app. Asked Alexa to open Third Reality and it said no compatible devices found. They are all on the same WiFi network. My Alexa echo dot 3rd gen doesn't know the blind 1 name. You need to enabled Third Reality Skill in your Alexa App. Only after the account linking is successfully completed, the smart blinds can be discovered by Alexa. The smart blind name in Alexa will be "Blind 1", same as that in Third Reality App. Q12 My smart blind will report it is "fully open", but the blind will physically be only partially open. If I press the "up" button on the blind itself, it will move up until it's actually fully open. 1 Press DOWN button on the blinds to open it fully(72"), then press the UP button to close the blinds. 2 Press DOWN button again to open the blinds and stop it at desired position and follow the instructions to set it as the bottom position "hold up the bottom sensor with your finger first, then press the DOWN button, after that release the DOWN button first, then release the bottom sensor".
