Safety Precautions
Please read the following precautions carefully before operating the unit. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury, death, or property damage.
General Warnings
- WARNING: This unit uses a flammable A2L refrigerant. In case of leakage, avoid contact with fire or hot surfaces to prevent hazardous gas formation and fire risk.
- WARNING: Never attempt to install, modify, or repair the unit yourself. Contact a qualified dealer for any service needs.
- WARNING: Ensure the power cord is not damaged, kinked, or overloaded. A damaged cord can cause fire or electric shock.
- WARNING: Do not operate the unit with wet hands.
- WARNING: Always unplug the unit before cleaning or maintenance.
- WARNING: Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into air inlets or outlets. The fan rotates at high speed. ?
- WARNING: If any unusual symptoms occur (e.g., burning smell), stop operation immediately and switch off the power. Contact your dealer.
- WARNING: Ensure proper ventilation when operating the unit in a room with combustion appliances.
- WARNING: Do not use extension cords or multi-plug adapters.
- WARNING: Ensure the power plug is clean and firmly inserted into the socket.
- WARNING: Do not operate the unit for extended periods with direct exposure to cool air, as it may affect health.
- WARNING: If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent to avoid hazards.
- WARNING: When installing or servicing, ensure no substance other than the specified refrigerant (R32) enters the refrigerant circuit. Other substances can cause abnormal pressure rise, leading to explosion or injury.
- WARNING: Using a refrigerant other than the specified one can cause mechanical damage, malfunction, or product failure, potentially compromising safety.
- WARNING: This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- WARNING: Keep batteries away from children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
- WARNING: Do not puncture or incinerate batteries.
General Cautions
- CAUTION: Do not place other electrical appliances or furniture directly below the indoor/outdoor unit, as dripping water may cause damage or malfunction.
- CAUTION: Do not operate the unit for more than 4 hours in high humidity or with open flames/heating appliances nearby, as this can cause condensation and potential damage.
- CAUTION: Do not use the unit for special purposes such as preserving precision instruments or art objects, as it may lead to deterioration or harm to pets/plants.
- CAUTION: Do not expose pets or plants to direct airflow.
- CAUTION: Do not use flammable sprays near the unit.
- CAUTION: Do not step on the outdoor unit or place heavy objects on it.
- CAUTION: When cleaning, ensure the unit is switched off and unplugged.
- CAUTION: If the unit is not used for a long period, unplug it to prevent dust accumulation that could cause overheating or fire.
- CAUTION: Replace all remote control batteries with new ones of the same type. Mixing old and new batteries can lead to overheating or leakage.
- CAUTION: Do not use water with a temperature above 50°C for cleaning.
- CAUTION: Do not dry parts in direct sunlight, heat, or open flame.
- CAUTION: Do not apply excessive force to the fan, as it may cause cracks or breakage.
- CAUTION: Ensure good ventilation if the unit is operated in a room with combustion appliances.
- CAUTION: Do not operate the unit after applying floor protection agents, as residues may adhere to the unit and cause leaks.
- CAUTION: If you hear thunder, switch off the power to protect the unit from lightning strikes.
- CAUTION: Clean filters regularly for optimal performance and energy saving. Dirty filters can lead to condensation and mold growth. It is recommended to clean air filters every 2 weeks.
Parts Identification
Indoor Unit Components
The indoor unit typically includes:
- Front Panel: Houses the air outlet and controls.
- Air Inlet: Located at the top/back of the unit.
- Air Outlet: Where conditioned air is discharged.
- Air Filter: Captures dust and particles.
- Fan: Circulates air.
- Heat Exchanger: Transfers heat to/from the refrigerant.
- Wi-Fi Interface (optional): For network connectivity.
- Remote Control Sensor: Receives signals from the remote.
- Operation Indicator Light: Shows the unit's status.
Outdoor Unit Components
The outdoor unit typically includes:
- Air Inlet/Outlet: For heat exchange with ambient air.
- Refrigerant Pipes: Connect the indoor and outdoor units.
- Condensate Drain Pipe: Removes moisture.
- Wi-Fi Interface (optional): For network connectivity.
Remote Control
The remote control allows operation of the air conditioner. Key functions include:
- Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
- Mode Selection: Choose between Cooling, Heating, Fan, Dry, Auto.
- Temperature Control: Adjusts the set temperature.
- Fan Speed Control: Selects fan speed (e.g., Auto, Low, Medium, High, Powerful).
- Timer Functions: Set ON/OFF timers and weekly timers.
- Horizontal/Vertical Vane Control: Adjusts airflow direction.
- ECONO-COOL, POWERFUL, i-save, NIGHT MODE buttons: For specific operating modes.
