Read and follow all instructions, heed all warnings to avoid damaging your STB device and other devices, and prevent the risk of serious injury to yourself and others.
- Place the STB on a durable standstill table to prevent it from falling. Avoid stacking the STB on top or below other electronic devices.
- Follow the type of power source indicated on the label marking.
- Do not place or operate the STB near water or wet surfaces.
- Always unplug the AC power of the STB before cleaning it. Use a dry clean cloth only.
- Install according to instructions. Use only recommended accessories.

- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched.
- Check all connections if properly inserted/fitted before turning the power on.
- Unplug the STB from the outlet and the antenna connection during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

- Hold and grip the power plug to disconnect it from the power outlet, not the cord.
- The ventilation holes should not be covered with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc., to prevent the STB from overheating.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, lighters, and matches, should be placed on the STB.
- Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- Use the STB in moderate temperature surroundings.
