The Aldes OCTA D800 + joint is an acoustic silencer designed to significantly reduce the propagation of acoustic noise, particularly in the medium frequency range, within circular ductwork systems while maintaining a low leakage rate.

Operating Principles
The interior of the OCTA silencer is lined with mineral wool and a glass veil to effectively attenuate sound waves.
Product Description
The OCTA circular silencer with joints is designed to strongly attenuate noise transmitted through ventilation networks, thereby ensuring acoustic comfort in tertiary and collective buildings. It also provides very good network tightness. A wide range of diameters is available, from Ø 125 mm to Ø 1000 mm.

Installation
The silencer is installed directly between two circular ducts in the network.
Reference Argument
- Outer casing made of plain galvanized steel or aluminum.
- Inner casing made of perforated galvanized steel or aluminum.
- Duct connection collars with seals for diameters from Ø 125 to Ø 630 mm. Standard connection collars for larger sizes.
- Acoustic insulation: rock wool + glass veil.
- Fire classification: MO (equivalent to A1 according to Euroclasses).
- A version tested for 400°C - 2h is available upon request.
- Product tightness: Class D according to EN 12237.
