This document outlines the key updates and enhancements introduced in Mitel MiVoice Connect Release 20.0 SP1. These changes are designed to improve system performance, security, and functionality for users and administrators.
Key Updates and Features:
- MySQL Version Upgrade: The system's MySQL database has been upgraded from version 5.7.40 to 8.0.32.
- OS Migration: Linux-based devices previously running CentOS 7.5 or 6.10 are now migrated to Rocky Linux 9.2, starting with the 20.0 release.
- Enhanced Backup Procedures: New procedures are available for on-demand backup and restore operations for CentOS Linux DVS and UCB, now compatible with Rocky Linux devices.
- Cloud Authentication Service: A new service supporting cloud authentication has been integrated into the HQ Server.
- Filename Update: The download filename for the Linux DVS option has been changed from
ConnectApplianceInstall.iso
toMiVCApplianceInstaller.iso
. - System Parameter Enhancements: New fields have been added within the CloudLink Configuration section under ADMINISTRATION > System > Additional Parameters.
- New Command for Switch Configuration: The command
update-crypto-policies --set DEFAULT:SHA1
is now available for configuring switches. - 6900-Series Model Support: The release specifies support for the following 6900-Series models: 6910, 6915, 6915d, 6915V2, 6920, 6930, 6940, 6970, 6920w, 6930w, and 6940w.
