Getting Started
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your Dell S2725DS monitor.
Contents of the box: Dell S2725DS monitor, stand arm, stand base, power cable, HDMI cable, and documentation.
Step 1: Attach Monitor to Stand Arm
Connect the monitor panel to the stand arm. A mounting bracket on the arm (labeled '1') connects to a corresponding point on the monitor.
[Diagram: Shows the back of the monitor and the stand arm connecting at a specific point (labeled '1' on both).]
Step 2: Attach Stand Arm to Base
Connect the stand arm (labeled '1') to the stand base. Secure the connection by tightening a screw (labeled '2') with a circular motion.
[Diagram: Shows the stand arm (labeled '1') being inserted into the stand base (labeled '1'). A screw (labeled '2') is shown being tightened with a circular arrow indicating rotation.]
Step 3: Assemble the Stand
Mount the monitor and arm assembly onto the stand base. The arm slots into the base (labeled '2') and is secured with a screw (labeled '3'). The fully assembled stand is shown (labeled '4').
[Diagram: Shows the stand base (labeled '1'). The monitor/arm assembly is then shown being attached to the base (labeled '2'). A screw (labeled '3') is used for securing, and the fully assembled stand is shown (labeled '4').]
Step 4: Connect Video Cables
Connect your computer to the monitor using the provided cables. Plug one end of a cable (labeled '1', e.g., HDMI) into the monitor's port. Connect the other end to a computer or other source device (labeled '2').
[Diagram: Shows the back of the monitor with ports. A cable (labeled '1', e.g., HDMI) is connected to the monitor. The other end of the cable is shown connecting to a computer (labeled '2').]
Step 5: Connect Power
Connect the monitor to a power source. Plug the power adapter into the monitor (labeled '1'), then plug the adapter into a wall outlet (labeled '2'). The monitor is now ready for power-on (indicated by a power symbol, labeled '3').
[Diagram: Shows the power adapter cable (labeled '1') being plugged into the monitor. The adapter is then plugged into a wall outlet (labeled '2'). A power symbol indicates the monitor is ready to be powered on (labeled '3').]
Monitor Orientation and Adjustment
Ensure the monitor is oriented correctly for use. The following steps illustrate proper adjustment.
❌ Incorrect monitor orientation is indicated by a red cross icon.
