LocoTag C2PL - User Manual
a few seconds ago · Updated
Our C2PL LocoTags have been developed to work alongside the LocoTrack tracking and monitoring devices. They can report presence / absence as well as data for alert notifications (temperature & proximity). The logging function checks and stores temperatures every 60 seconds to local memory. When in the range of a compatible device, the logged data is communicated to our server for storage, visualization and analysis. Installation of the C2PL is via a 3M adhesive backing which provides a strong attachment to plastic and metal assets. Each C2PL has a unique identifier that is presented as a number and a barcode on its label.

Activation is achieved by pressing the on button.
Association is completed by scanning this barcode and entering details regarding the asset into LocoAware.
The C2PL can also be coupled with Type T Thermocouple to obtain additional temperature readings ranging between -270c to 400c.
The C2PL communicates via a proprietary BLE discoverable protocol over 2.4GHz, with a Tx power of 0dBm. The range is approximately 20m indoors, and 80m outdoors (LOS). The C2PL reporting interval is every 5 seconds, and the logging frequency is 15 minutes, which provides a 30 day logging buffer. The temperature accuracy is sub 1 degree C (NIST traceable).
Batteries
Power is delivered by internal AAA alkaline batteries delivering up to 4.5V and a peak of 1A
Do not expose to temperatures > 55° Do not incinerate or disassemble Recycle after use Do not attempt to replace the batteries
