Optimize your driving range with the 3-stage regenerative braking system and heat pump. Thanks to fast charging, charging your vehicle for 170 km of driving takes just 27 minutes.

Regenerative Braking: With the new Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric, your battery is charged using the energy generated when the vehicle slows down or brakes. With three different braking levels, you can optimize the vehicle's energy recovery depending on traffic conditions.

Eco Mode: Eco mode optimizes the vehicle's range by electronically limiting motor power to 56 kW and maximum speed to 110 km/h. You can easily activate or deactivate this mode by clicking a button on the instrument panel.

You can charge your vehicle at home, at work, or anywhere else, with access to a wide range of charging options.

The Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric is delivered with a mode 3 cable that can be used at home (type 2) or public charging stations.

14 Advanced Driving Assistance Systems

The Renault Kangoo is equipped with fourteen innovative advanced driving assistance systems.

• Semi-Autonomous Driving: Adapt your vehicle easily to surrounding traffic. Active between 0 km/h - 170 km/h, this system adjusts your speed, maintains the following distance to the vehicle ahead, and helps you stay in your lane. In heavy traffic, the vehicle automatically stops and starts for greater comfort and ease.
• Active Emergency Braking System: Prevents or reduces collisions day and night, in the city or on highways (with pedestrians, motorcycles, or vehicles). Sensors detect collision risks. If you do not react or react too slowly, the system triggers and applies the brakes.
• Blind Spot Warning System: Active between 30 km/h and 180 km/h, this system automatically warns the driver of vehicles in their blind spot. If necessary, the system can make steering corrections to prevent side collisions.
• Crosswind Assist: At speeds above 70 km/h, this system helps maintain your course when your vehicle is exposed to strong winds or when another vehicle overtakes you.

Glossary

• E-Tech: Electric, hybrid, or plug-in hybrid technology developed by Renault.
• Regenerative Braking: Energy recovery system that increases the vehicle's driving range: a portion of the kinetic energy is converted into electricity whenever the vehicle slows down. The battery is recharged when the driver releases the accelerator pedal or lightly presses the brake pedal.
• Reinforced Home Socket: A more efficient home charging solution than a standard home socket. It offers higher power (reinforced socket 3.2 kW - standard socket 2.3 kW) and provides a safer charging process (equipped with different circuit breakers).
• Home Charging Point: Offers higher power density than a standard home socket for more efficient and faster charging. It ensures safer charging thanks to systems for charge control and overvoltage protection.
• Flexi Charge Cable: A charging cable that can be used to connect a vehicle to a home power outlet. The flexi charge cable, designed for occasional home charging, can be plugged into an electrical outlet connected to an earth line.
• Mode 3: This cable is required to charge an electric vehicle with a wallbox (home charger) or a public charging infrastructure.
• Usable Capacity: The amount of energy stored in and usable by the vehicle. The value is expressed in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
• kWh: Abbreviation for kilowatt-hour. The unit of energy corresponding to 1 kW of power consumed in one hour.
• kW: Abbreviation for kilowatt. The unit used to measure the power of a vehicle motor, whether it is an electric motor or an internal combustion engine. Kilowatt measures the charging power in direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC).
• AC Charging: AC charging at low to medium power (max. 22 kW). This is the most common charging method found in homes or public charging points.
• DC Charging: Fast direct current charging (min. 50 kW). Requires a specific fast charging station, typically found in public charging networks.
• Mode 2: This cable, designed for home use, is required to charge an electric vehicle at conventional outlets.

Human First Program

The Human First (People First) program is a comprehensive safety program developed by Renault in collaboration with researchers, experts, and firefighters.

Road safety concerns everyone, whether they are pedestrians, cyclists, or motorcyclists. The Renault Human First program undertakes the following responsibilities:

1. Developing safety equipment, advanced driving, and safety assistance systems to prevent accidents. This includes up to 36 advanced driving assistance systems, over 60 safety systems, up to 7 airbags, Isofix child seat mounts, the Renault Fix4sure solution, and over 2,000 safety-related patents since 1970.
2. Leveraging innovations developed with firefighters to manage accidents. In the last 10 years, through the QRescue/Fireman Access program, training has been provided to over 5,000 firefighters in 17 countries worldwide, with approximately 600 vehicles made available annually for training.
3. Investing significantly in R&D to reduce the number and severity of accidents. This includes safety scores, safety coaches/connected services, extensive databases, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity systems.

Warranty

The new vehicle warranty is for 2 years, covering material, assembly, and manufacturing defects without mileage limitation. In addition to the 2-year unlimited mileage warranty for the RENAULT KANGOO, there is an additional 3-year / 100,000 km (whichever comes first) new vehicle warranty. The battery of the Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric (traction battery) is covered by an 8-year / 160,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty. The anti-corrosion warranty is for 12 years without mileage limitation, and the paint warranty is for 3 years without mileage limitation. Regardless of the vehicle's age, all interventions performed at Renault authorized service centers, whether paid or not, are covered by a 2-year / 60,000 km spare parts and repair warranty against material, assembly, and manufacturing defects.
