Assembly Instructions

Using the Carrier
When you need to open the trunk of the vehicle
Correct Usage: The carrier can be opened with the trunk.
Incorrect Usage: Do not attempt to open the trunk if it obstructs the carrier.
The carrier can be folded up when not in use.

GENERAL REMARKS
- Read and follow all instructions before use. Keep instructions for future reference. Check the parts list upon opening the package and ensure all parts are assembled correctly before fitting to your car.
- The user is responsible for proper assembly and installation. Marvoware disclaims liability for improper fitting or use.
- Improper installation may cause damage to the vehicle or bikes, and may result in personal injury.
- Use the product only for its intended purpose. Do not modify any components. Remove the carrier when not in use.
- Do not exceed the recommended number of bikes. Each bike must not exceed 66 lbs (30 kg).
- The carrier is designed for vehicles with a 2-inch hitch receiver.
- This rack is not intended for tandem or recumbent bicycles.
- Do not transport bicycles with baby seats, panniers, wheel covers, full bike covers, or motors attached.
SAFE AND PROPER USE
- Clean the hitch receiver surface before installation.
- Always use the safety strap to attach bikes to the carrier.
- Ensure adequate clearance between the exhaust pipe and bicycle tires/straps to prevent heat damage.
- If your vehicle has an automatic tailgate opening system, disable it before using the carrier and open the tailgate manually.
- When loading bikes, remove all loose accessories (toolbars, baby carriers, pumps, etc.).
- Position the heaviest bike first, closest to the car, followed by smaller bikes.
- Periodically check that all hardware, straps, and knobs are securely tightened.
- Consider using extra protection to prevent scratches on bikes and the tailgate.
- Do not open the vehicle's gate with bikes installed on the carrier.
ROAD SAFETY
- Verify the light board on the carrier is functioning before departure.
- Be aware that the carrier and bikes increase the vehicle's length, width, and height. Exercise caution in narrow or low clearance areas and when reversing.
- The combined weight of the rack and bikes will affect driving. Adhere to speed limits and do not exceed 120 km/h (75 mph).
- Drive slowly over speed bumps and adapt speed to road conditions.
- Off-road driving is not recommended and may cause damage.
- If you hit a bump or hole, stop the vehicle, inspect the bikes and carrier, and remove them if any issues are found.
- Ensure sufficient ground clearance for the bikes, especially when entering driveways.
MAINTAINING YOUR BICYCLE RACK
- Periodically inspect for signs of wear, corrosion, and fatigue.
- Do not use the carrier with defective parts. Contact the dealer for replacements.
- Remove the carrier before entering an automatic car wash.
- For best condition, remove the carrier from the car when not in use. The product is not designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, especially seacoast air.
- Lubricate bolts to prevent corrosion.
