How the Space Saver Works
The Smith's Space Saver is a fan convector that fits into the plinth of a kitchen unit. It uses the hot water from your central heating system to provide heat. A fan gently circulates warm air into the room, offering a more even temperature distribution and quicker heating than traditional panel radiators.

Types of Space Saver Heaters
Hydronic Models
Connect directly to the Central Heating system and use hot water generated by the boiler. Available in heat outputs up to 2.4kW. Features include summer mode for fan-only air movement, a 12v version for high humidity areas, and dual versions that connect to Central Heating and Electric heating modes. These models offer low running costs and are available in 5 different grille finishes. Some models come with an EasiLink connection for easy upgrading with controllers.
Hydronic Low Voltage
Functions similarly to hydronic models but uses a transformer for safe operation, even with wet hands. Ideal for high humidity environments like bathrooms.
Hydronic/Electric (Dual)
Combines hydronic heating with an electric element, allowing use even when the central heating system is switched off.
Electric Models
Plug directly into a standard electrical socket, ideal for situations without central heating access. Offers outputs up to 3kW and comes with a wireless programmable controller. Available with 5 different grille finishes.
