1. Product Introduction
This section introduces the INKBIRD IBS-TH3-WIFI Temperature Humidity Sensor.
Sensor Components:
- Sensor: The main unit for measuring temperature and humidity.
- Wi-Fi Indicator Light: Indicates the connection status.
- Action Button: Used for checking Wi-Fi status and resetting the device.
Action Button Functions:
- Short Press: Checks current Wi-Fi status. If paired, the indicator light flashes once, and data syncs to the app. If not paired, the light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
- Long Press (5-8 seconds): Resets the sensor's Wi-Fi and allows re-pairing with a network.

3. APP Connection
3.1 Download the INKBIRD App
Search for the INKBIRD App on Google Play or the App Store to download it for free. Alternatively, scan the provided QR code (QR code excluded from output).
Notes:
- iOS devices require iOS 10.0 or above.
- Android devices require Android 4.4 or above.
- The device supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi routers only.
3.2 Registration
An INKBIRD account is required for first-time use.
- Open the app, select your Country/Region. A verification code will be sent to your device.
- Enter the verification code to confirm your identity and complete registration.
3.3 Connect to Your Phone
Follow these steps to connect the IBS-TH3 sensor to your phone:
- Open the INKBIRD app and tap the [plus icon] in the upper right corner. Select "IBS-TH3" to begin the connection process.
- Ensure the device batteries are correctly installed. Confirm and tap "Next Step" when the blue indicator light flashes once, indicating the device is powered on.
- Select your desired Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz only) and enter the password. Tap "Next Step".
- Press and hold the device's action button for 5 to 8 seconds until the indicator light flashes, entering pairing status. Tap "Confirm" on the app to proceed.
- The app will automatically scan for the device. Once found, confirm and tap "Next Step".
- The device will automatically connect to the network.
- A "Connection Succeeded" message will appear.
Note: If connection fails, reinsert the batteries and repeat steps 3.3.1 to 3.3.6.
3.4 Reset the Wi-Fi Network
To reset the Wi-Fi network, press and hold the device button for 5 to 8 seconds. Then, repeat the connection steps to pair the IBS-TH3 sensor with your phone again.
3.5 Main Interface of INKBIRD App
The main interface displays:
- Battery Level indicator.
- Current Temperature reading.
- Current Humidity reading.
- An option to enter the setting interface.
4. Safeguards
Please observe the following precautions:
- Do not disassemble the product unless you are a professional.
- Ensure the sensor is not covered with dust, as this can lead to inaccurate measurements.
- Do not use alcohol to clean the sensor.
5. Product Warranty
This product includes a 1-year warranty covering defects in components or workmanship. INKBIRD will repair or replace defective products free of charge at their discretion during this period.
6. FCC Requirement
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) the device must not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. If interference occurs, users are encouraged to try correcting it by:
- Reorienting or relocating the receiving antenna.
- Increasing the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connecting the equipment to a different circuit outlet than the receiver.
- Consulting a dealer or experienced radio/TV technician.
The equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits for uncontrolled environments. The transmitter must not be co-located or operated with any other antenna or transmitter.
