2.4 Electrical Installation

Safety Precautions:

2.5 Wall-Mounted Installation

NOTE: Use overhead cover for outdoor installations. Not recommended for northern climates or high wind areas.

  1. Unpack the heater and remove protective foam.
  2. The heater includes standard 4" brackets. Spacing between brackets: 3200W: 48" to 30" (1.2m to 0.75m); 1500W: 18" to 10" (0.45m to 0.25m).
  3. Select wall location by identifying studs or structural beams for secure attachment. Ensure minimum clearances from section 2.1 are met.
  4. Securely fasten brackets to the mounting surface. Wall bolts/anchors are not supplied; select appropriate size for unit weight and wind load.
  5. Mount heater to brackets with the terminal box on the right side, using provided screws.
  6. Adjust heater to desired angle and tighten fixing bolts on the back of the heater.
  7. Secure the electrical supply cable so it does not contact the heater body or obstruct air vents. Follow electrical codes.

  4. Heater can hang vertically or at a maximum 45° angle from vertical.
  5. NOTICE: NEVER direct infrared heat at an adjacent wall.
  6. Secure electrical supply cable away from heater body and air vents.

2.7 Adjusting Directional Positioning

[!] WARNING: Never attempt to move or adjust the heater angle while it is running. Personal injury could result.

  1. Turn off the heater's electrical supply from the main power supply.
  2. Allow the heater to cool before adjusting the angle.
  3. Loosen fixing bolts on the brackets at the back of the heater, adjust as desired, then re-tighten.
