The 07/01/2025 update will address the following:
- Minor bug fixes and improvements stability.
- Add setup microphone switching procedure. For details, please refer here.
The 03/12/2025 update will address the following:
- Fixed an issue where no sound is output during Bluetooth playback from an iPhone.
- Fixed an issue where Dirac filters were not applied correctly with certain speaker configurations.
- Minor bug fixes and improvements stability.
The 10/28/2024 update will address the following:
- Addition of Amazon Music HD
- Dolby Atmos Music Playback Capability for Amazon Music HD and Tidal Native Playback
- Source Based Tone Mapping for HDMI2.1a
- Improved Amplifier Power supply sequence
- Google Cast2.0. The method for network connection will be changed. For details, please refer here.
- Support Tidal MAX
- Improve the Dirac Live measurement on the Onkyo Application.
- Minor bug fixes and improvements stability.

The 09/05/2023 update will address the following:
- Fix the issue of displaying messages related to OSD signals when connecting the Optoma projector.
- Fix the issue where enabling Bluetooth transmission would prevent HLG display.
- Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
The 03/30/2023 update will address the following:
- Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
- Update the supported speakers for Klipsch Optimized Mode. Add ceiling/wall-mounted speakers/subwoofers. Change the UI for speaker selection.
- Add ALLM, VRR information to OSD Info/Status/One Shot display for input signals.
The 09/09/2022 update will address the following:
- Update the compatible speakers for Klipsch Optimized Mode. Add Klipsch Reference Premiere series new models.
- Improve stability of Bluetooth Transmitter function.
- Raise the upper limit of the Dirac delay time from 20 msec to 50 msec.
- Add recovery process when Network Error occurs in Dirac.
- Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
The 05/18/2022 update will address the following:
- Add Klipsch Reference Premiere II series speakers to the compatible speakers for Klipsch Optimized Mode. (Including some update of Klipsch Reference series)
- Improve mic curve characteristics of Dirac live for the attached mic. If already measured Dirac live with the attached mic, Please re-measure Dirac live after this update for better sound.
- Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
The 01/12/2022 update will address the following:
- Chromecast built-in version update to 1.52GM2.
- Improve reception capability in certain TuneIn Radio stations.
- Fix the issue that cannot playback Deezer in the condition of not log-in state.
- Fix the issue that Web Setup cannot be accessed depending on the measurement result of Dirac Live.
- Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
The 10/14/2021 update will address the following:
- Chromecast built-in version update to 1.52.
- Fix the no sound and video issue via eARC connection from SONY TV.
The 07/20/2021 update will address the following:

- Virtual Remote, Limit Mode, and HDMI diagnostic functions have been added to the Web Setup Menu.
- Fixed the problem that the audio format of TIDAL playback becomes AAC.
- Fixed the problem of color corruption in Dolby Vision games on Xbox.
- Fixed a problem where the image would not be displayed when VRR was turned on for Xbox.
- Fixed the problem where High Bit Rate Audio such as Dolby TrueHD would not be output when 4K or 8K resolution signals were input.
- Fixed the problem where audio would not be output from the TV speakers when playing High Bit Rate Audio signals such as Dolby TrueHD in TV audio output mode.
- Fixed a problem with the HDMI diagnostic function Source Test.
Update Instructions
Update the firmware via network or USB connection.
"Updating the firmware via network"
You can update the firmware by connecting the unit to a network.
"Updating the firmware via USB connection"
You need a 128 MB or larger capacity USB storage for updating.
