Safety Instructions

IMPORTANT TO BE READ AND OBSERVED

Before using the appliance, read these safety instructions and keep them nearby for future reference. The manufacturer is not liable for failure to observe these instructions, inappropriate use, or incorrect control settings.

Child Safety:

  • Children aged 0-3 years must be kept away from the appliance.
  • Children aged 3-8 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • Children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities can use the appliance only if supervised or instructed on safe use and hazards.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

General Warnings:

  • The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Avoid touching heating elements. Children under 8 must be kept away unless supervised.
  • Never leave the appliance unattended during food drying.
  • Use only recommended temperature probes for oven use to prevent fire risk.
  • Keep flammable materials away from the appliance until it cools down.
  • Be vigilant when cooking foods rich in fat, oil, or when adding alcoholic beverages, as this can cause fire.
  • Use oven gloves to remove pans and accessories.
  • Open the door cautiously after cooking to allow hot air or steam to escape gradually, preventing burns.
  • Do not obstruct hot air vents at the front of the oven to prevent fire risk.
  • Exercise caution when the oven door is open or down to avoid hitting it.
  • Food must not be left in or on the product for more than one hour before or after cooking.

Permitted Use:

  • This appliance is intended for household and similar applications (e.g., staff kitchens, offices, farm houses, hotels, motels).
  • No other use is permitted, such as heating rooms.
  • This appliance is not for professional use or outdoor use.
  • Do not store explosive or flammable substances (e.g., gasoline, aerosol cans) inside or near the appliance.

Installation

Handling and Installation:

  • Requires two or more persons to handle and install to prevent injury.
  • Use protective gloves during unpacking and installation to avoid cuts.
  • Installation, water supply (if applicable), electrical connections, and repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician.
  • Do not repair or replace parts unless specified in the user manual.
  • Keep children away from the installation site.
  • After unpacking, check for transport damage. Contact the dealer or After-Sales Service if problems occur.
  • Store packaging waste (plastic, styrofoam) out of reach of children to prevent suffocation.
  • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before any installation operation to avoid electrical shock.
  • Ensure the power cable is not damaged by the appliance during installation to prevent fire or electrical shock.
  • Activate the appliance only after installation is complete.
  • Carry out all cabinet cutting works before fitting the appliance and remove wood chips and sawdust.
  • Remove the appliance from its polystyrene foam base only at the time of installation.
  • After installation, ensure the bottom of the appliance is inaccessible to prevent burns.
  • Do not install the appliance behind a decorative door to prevent fire risk.
  • If installed under a worktop, do not obstruct the minimum gap between the worktop and the oven's upper edge to prevent burns.

Electrical Warnings

The rating plate is located on the front edge of the oven, visible when the door is open.

The appliance must be disconnectable from the power supply via plug accessibility or a multi-pole switch upstream of the socket, in accordance with wiring rules. The appliance must be earthed according to national electrical safety standards.

  • Do not use extension leads, multiple sockets, or adapters.
  • Electrical components must not be accessible to the user after installation.
  • Do not use the appliance when wet or barefoot.
  • Do not operate if the power cable or plug is damaged, if the appliance is not working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.
  • If the power cable needs replacement, contact an authorized service center.

Cleaning and Maintenance

WARNING: Ensure the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the power supply before any maintenance.

  • To avoid personal injury, use protective gloves (risk of laceration) and safety shoes (risk of contusion).
  • Handle by two persons to reduce load.
  • Never use steam cleaning equipment (risk of electric shock).
  • Non-professional repairs not authorized by the manufacturer can lead to health and safety risks and will not be covered by the warranty.
  • Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or metal scrapers on the door glass, as they can scratch the surface and cause shattering.
  • Ensure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning or performing maintenance to prevent burns.
  • WARNING: Switch off the appliance before replacing the lamp to avoid electric shock.

Disposal of Packaging Materials and Appliances

Packaging materials are 100% recyclable and marked with the recycling symbol. Dispose of them responsibly according to local waste regulations.

Energy Saving Tips

  • Preheat the oven only if specified in the cooking table or recipe.
  • Use dark, lacquered, or enamelled baking trays as they absorb heat better.
  • Food requiring prolonged cooking will continue to cook even after the oven is switched off.
