Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances:

Boil-Dry Protection

If milk level is insufficient, indicator lights will flash and the appliance will shut off automatically. If this occurs, switch off, unplug, and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before re-use.

Care and Maintenance

Switch off, unplug, and allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or maintenance.

  1. Wipe the milk frother with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  2. Clean the interior with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as this may cause damage.

NOTE: The milk frother should be cleaned after each use.

WARNING: The milk frother is not dishwasher safe.

Instructions for Use

Before first use

Clean the milk frother as described in the 'Care and Maintenance' section.

Using the milk frother

  1. Place the base unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface at a comfortable height.
  2. Position the removable whisk onto the whisk spindle at the bottom of the milk frother cup.
  3. Fill the cup with milk, ensuring it is above the minimum fill mark but below the maximum frothing fill mark.
  4. Attach the lid, place the frother onto the base unit, plug it in, and switch it on.
  5. Press and hold the [power-button] to switch on; the indicator light will illuminate.
  6. Press the [power-button] repeatedly to change the function. The frother will turn off automatically when the cycle is complete.
  7. Switch off and unplug the appliance. Carefully remove the lid and pour out the milk.

Making hot chocolate

  1. Place the base unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface at a comfortable height.
  2. Position the removable whisk onto the whisk spindle at the bottom of the milk frother cup.
  3. Pour milk into the cup up to the maximum fill mark.
  4. Add a maximum of 35g of chocolate shavings per 300ml of milk.
  5. Press and hold the [power-button] to switch on, then press it three times to start the program.

Storage

Ensure the milk frother is cool, clean, and dry before storing in a cool, dry place. Do not wrap the cord tightly; wrap it loosely to prevent damage.
