CoolFlow

This system creates optimal air circulation to maintain a constant temperature throughout the refrigerator compartment. The air mimics the natural microclimate, keeping food fresh longer. This system also allows any type of food to be placed on any shelf in the refrigerator, as there is no temperature difference between shelves.

NoFrost

With NoFrost technology, you no longer need to defrost your freezer.

Shelves

You can arrange the shelves as you wish on the supports inside the refrigerator. To move or remove a shelf, lift it slightly at the back, pull it towards you, then move or remove it from the appliance. Place quickly perishable foods at the back of the shelves, where the temperature is lowest.

Some models also have a wire bottle holder. This prevents accidental removal. It can only be removed when empty. To remove it, lift it slightly at the back and pull it towards you. Position the bottle holder so that the length of the bottles does not prevent the door from closing properly. This shelf can hold a maximum of nine 0.75 L bottles or support a total of 13 kg (see the label on the right side inside the appliance).

You can also store cans on this shelf (lengthwise or widthwise).

Vegetable Drawer with Humidity Regulator

MultiZone Drawer (On some models only)

The MultiZone compartment allows you to store a wide variety of foods up to three times longer than in a traditional refrigerator. Preserved products stay fresh longer, retaining their flavor and nutrients. The temperature of this compartment depends on the set temperature for the refrigerator compartment, the ambient temperature, the frequency of door opening, and the quantity of food it contains.

To achieve a temperature around 0°C in the MultiZone compartment, we recommend setting the refrigerator compartment temperature to 4°C or lower. The temperature in the ZeroZone compartment can drop below 0°C. Therefore, place temperature-sensitive foods in the upper parts of the refrigerator.

For optimal efficiency, the drawer must be closed properly.

Converting the MultiZone Compartment into a Vegetable Drawer

If you need extra space for your fruits and vegetables, you can convert your MultiZone compartment into a vegetable drawer.

INFORMATION When the Convert function is activated (light above the symbol D is lit), the compartment will function as a vegetable drawer, regardless of the setting or cursor position. Even if the cursor is set to MultiZone, the temperature in the drawer will not be close to 0°C, which may lead to food spoilage. Therefore, we recommend placing foods sensitive to higher temperatures in a more suitable location.

Appliance Operation

Starting and Stopping the Appliance

To start the appliance, plug the power cord into the socket.

To stop the appliance, unplug the power cord from the socket.

Setting the Appliance Temperature

Setting the Refrigerator Compartment Temperature

The numbers 2, 4, and 6 indicate the temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) in the refrigerator compartment.

Setting the Freezer Compartment Temperature

The numbers -20, -18, and -16 indicate the temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) in the refrigerator compartment.

Super Freezing Function (Rapid Freezing)

INFORMATION When Super Freezing is active, the temperature may be lower in the freezer, and also in the refrigerator.

INFORMATION When the rapid freezing function is selected, the appliance operates at maximum capacity. It may therefore be noisier for a period.

Deactivating Super Freezing

To deactivate: Press the B button again to set the desired temperature B1. The indicator light above symbol C will turn off. If the intensive freezing function is not manually deactivated, it will automatically deactivate after approximately two days, and the temperature will return to the last set value.

In case of a power failure during intensive freezing, the function will restart once the power is restored.

Convert Function

The entire freezer compartment can be converted into a MultiZone compartment. The temperature in this compartment is equal to or slightly below 0°C. Therefore, do not store temperature-sensitive foods in this compartment, as they may freeze. Before switching to MultiZone function, empty the freezer compartment to prevent frozen food from thawing and spoiling.

INFORMATION The Convert function also affects the temperatures in the MultiZone drawer (see Description of the Appliance chapter). When this function is activated, the temperature in the drawer will not be close to 0°C. On the contrary, the drawer will function as a fruit and vegetable drawer regardless of the settings or cursor position, which may lead to food spoilage. Therefore, we recommend moving foods sensitive to higher temperatures to a more suitable location.

High Temperature Alarm

If the temperature inside the appliance is too high, a siren alarm (intermittent tone) will sound, and the indicator light above the set temperature for the compartment with the too-high temperature will flash.

Stopping the Alarm

Door Open Alarm

If the refrigerator door or freezer compartment door is open for more than 2 minutes, a siren alarm (repetitive beep) will activate. If the alarm is not manually deactivated, it will sound for 10 minutes.

To deactivate the alarm: close the appliance door.

INFORMATION If you deactivate the alarm by pressing the B button, it will reactivate after 4 minutes if the door is still open.

INFORMATION If you leave the door open for more than 10 minutes, the alarm will stop, and the indicator light above the -16°C or -18°C display will start flashing. The appliance will then enter safety mode to provide sufficient cooling and prevent food spoilage despite the open door.

Maintenance

Defrosting the Appliance

Automatic Defrosting of the Refrigerator Compartment

The refrigerator compartment defrosts automatically from time to time.

NoFrost Freezer Defrosting

The NoFrost freezer defrosts automatically. Frost is thus eliminated.

Any ice or frost buildup in the freezer compartment may result from abnormal appliance use (frequent or prolonged door opening, or improper door closing, etc.). In this case, manual defrosting of the freezer is required.

Manual Defrosting of the NoFrost Freezer

ATTENTION! Do not use defrosting sprays, as they can melt plastic parts or harm your health.

ATTENTION! Do not use a knife or other sharp utensils to remove frost, as you could damage the refrigeration system tubing.

Cleaning the Appliance

ATTENTION! Switch off the appliance and unplug it before cleaning.

ATTENTION! Do not use abrasive cleaning products, as they can damage the surface.

INFORMATION Activate the rapid freezing function 24 hours before cleaning the freezer.

ATTENTION! If you do not plan to use the appliance for an extended period, switch it off, unplug it, empty, defrost, and clean it, leaving the door slightly ajar.

Troubleshooting

If you have doubts about the proper functioning of your appliance, do not assume it is defective. We recommend checking the points in the following table.

Problem Cause/Solution
The appliance is connected to the mains but does not work:
  • Check if the socket is powered and if the appliance is switched on.
The refrigeration system runs continuously without intermittent stops:
  • The ambient temperature is too high.
  • The door has been opened too often or for too long.
  • The door is not closing properly (dented door, dirty or damaged seal, etc.).
  • Too much fresh food was introduced at once.
Excessive frost buildup on the rear wall of the refrigerator may be caused by:
  • The door has been opened too often or for too long.
  • Hot dishes were introduced into the refrigerator.
  • Food or containers are touching the rear wall of the refrigerator.
  • Poor door seal.
  • If the seal is dirty or damaged, clean or replace it.
Ice or frost formation inside the freezer:
  • The door has been opened too long or too frequently.
  • The door is not closing properly.
  • Poor door seal (misaligned door, dirty or damaged seal, etc.).
  • Manually defrost the appliance.
Condensation (fog) on the shelf above the drawers: This is a transient phenomenon that cannot be completely avoided during periods of high heat and humidity. It dissipates when the temperature and humidity return to normal. We recommend cleaning the drawers more often and wiping away condensation from time to time. Open the ventilation openings of the humidity regulator. Store food in plastic bags or other airtight packaging.
Water flowing from the refrigerator:
  • The drain opening is blocked, and defrost water cannot flow normally into the gutter.
  • Clean the blocked opening, for example, with a plastic straw.
  • If a thick layer of frost has formed, manually defrost the appliance (see Defrosting chapter).
The LED lighting does not work:
  • If the LED lighting does not work, contact after-sales service.
  • Do not attempt to repair it yourself, as you risk contact with high voltage.
The indicator light above the temperature display flashes:
  • The door has been opened too often or for too long.
  • The door is not closing properly (dented door, dirty or damaged seal, etc.).
  • Long power outage.
  • Too much fresh food was introduced at once.
The luminous indicators above the 2°C display and/or the D display flash:
  • The touch controls are not responding. Call after-sales service for repair.
  • Until the appliance is repaired, it will operate in a secure mode, automatically maintaining the most suitable temperature for each compartment.
The indicator light above the 4°C indicator flashes:
  • Refrigerator compartment temperature sensor error or fault. Call a service center for repair.
  • Until the appliance is repaired by a technician, it operates in secure mode. The appliance will automatically maintain the most appropriate temperature for each compartment.
The indicator light above the 6°C indicator flashes:
  • Freezer compartment temperature sensor error or fault. Call a service center for repair. Until the appliance is repaired by a technician, it operates in secure mode. The appliance will automatically maintain the most appropriate temperature for each compartment.
The indicator light above the -18°C indicator flashes:
  • The door has been open too long. Close the door.
  • If the compartment lighting also does not work, the door sensor for the refrigerator compartment is defective. Call a service center to arrange a repair. The appliance will operate in safe mode until it is repaired. The appliance will automatically maintain the most appropriate temperature for each compartment.
The indicator light above the -16°C indicator flashes:
  • The freezer compartment door has been open too long. Close the door.
The indicator light above the C indicator flashes:
  • Compartment fan failure. Call a service center for repair. The appliance cannot function normally. Transfer food to a cool place and switch off the appliance.
The indicator light above the C indicator flashes rapidly:
