SONOFF DW2-RF User Manual V1.0
RF Wireless Door/Window Sensor
Introduction
The SONOFF DW2-RF is a low-energy wireless door/window sensor designed to detect and report the opening or closing status of doors and windows. It operates by separating a magnet from its transmitter. For intelligent operation and integration with other smart devices, it connects to a SONOFF 433MHz RF Bridge. The DW2-RF is also compatible with other gateways that support the 433MHz wireless protocol.
Operation Instructions
Download the eWeLink APP
Download the eWeLink application from your mobile device's app store (e.g., App Store, Google Play).
[QR code for app download is provided in the original document.]
Install Batteries
- Remove the back cover of the transmitter. [Diagram shows the transmitter's back cover being removed.]
- Insert batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). [Diagram shows batteries being inserted into the compartment, aligning with positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.]
- Close the back cover.
Note: The battery is not included and must be purchased separately.
Add Sub-devices
Ensure the SONOFF RF Bridge is connected before adding the DW2-RF.
Open the eWeLink APP, select your Bridge, and tap "Add" to select the alarm device (DW2-RF).
A "Beep" sound from the Bridge indicates it has entered pairing mode.
Separate the magnet from the transmitter by more than 20mm. The LED indicator on the transmitter will stay lit for 1-2 seconds. Pairing is complete when the Bridge emits two "Beep Beep" sounds.
[Diagram illustrates the eWeLink app interface for adding a device, showing the transmitter and magnet separated by more than 20mm for pairing.]
If the addition fails, move the sub-device closer to the Bridge and try again.
Install the Device
- Tear off the protective film of the 3M adhesive. [Diagram shows the protective film being peeled off the adhesive.]
- Align the mark line on the magnet with the mark line on the transmitter during installation. [Diagram shows the transmitter and magnet with alignment marks.]
- Install them separately in the door/window opening and closing areas.
Ensure the installation gap is less than 5mm when the door or window is closed. [Diagram shows the transmitter and magnet with a measurement indicating the installation gap should be less than 5mm when the door or window is closed.]
