1. VOORSCHRIFTEN VOOR VEILIGHEID EN MONTAGE

Dit is de montage-instructie voor het op de voorzijde
aangegeven Novy-toestel. Lees aandachtig de veiligheidsvoorschriften, de montagehandleiding en de gebruiksaanwijzing vóór de installatie en ingebruikname.

De veiligheidsvoorschriften staan vermeld in een apart boekje dat met het toestel is meegeleverd en wordt ook op onze website www.novy.com vermeld.
Leef de veiligheidsvoorschriften, de montagehandleiding en de gebruiksaanwijzing na om letsel en materiële schade te voorkomen.

In deze montage-instructie wordt gewerkt met een aantal symbolen. Hieronder vind u de betekenis van deze symbolen.

Start pas met de montage van de Novy inductiekookplaat nadat alle onderkasten en het werkblad volledig gemonteerd en waterpas uitgelijnd zijn. In de doos zit een controleblad. Tijdens installatie dit controleblad overlopen en waar nodig invullen. Het controleblad bevat aandachtspunten ter ondersteuning voor een correcte installatie hetgeen essentieel om ervoor te zorgen dat de Novy inductiekookplaat correct functioneert. Overhandig het ingevulde exemplaar aan de gebruiker met de overige documenten van de keuken/ keukenappartuur. Open de verpakking en leg al het materiaal terzijde; in de volgende stappen heeft u deze nodig.

Controleer aan de hand van de tekening of alle onderdelen van de kookplaat aanwezig zijn in de verpakking. Let op het juiste typenummer van de kookplaat alsook van de onderdelen indien gelabeld.

Het toestel niet monteren en aansluiten wanneer de componenten en/of onderdelen bij het transport beschadigd zijn geraakt. Voor een waterdichte bevestiging worden de centerpoints verlijmd in het werkblad. Gebruik hiervoor uitsluitend de meegeleverde tube lijm (53005051).
Controleer de houdbaarheidsdatum van de lijm. De houdbaarheidsdatum staat vermeld op de tube (maand/jaar). Neem contact op met de Novy klantendienst indien de houdbaarheidsdatum is verstreken. De contactgevens vindt u op onze website: www.novy.com/contact
Gebruik geen lijm met een verstreken houdbaarheidsdatum. De hechting van de lijm neemt af zodra de houdbaarheidsdatum is verstreken.

in een onderkast met een breedte van 120 cm zonder tussenschot. De netto binnenafmeting moet minimaal 1140mm en maximaal 1240mm bedragen.

2 Montage van de Magnetic-Click hulpstukken Gebruik hiervoor zakje A. De Magnetic-Click hulpstukken zorgen voor een juiste en eenvoudige positionering van het montageframe. 1. Steek de metalen bus via de binnenzijde van de onderkast door het gat in het werkblad en hou deze goed vast. 2. Draai het blauwe bovendeel handvast aan op de metalen bus tot deze mooi aansluiten tegen het werkblad 3. Herhaal deze handeling voor elke kookzone.

Plaats het montageframe in de kast. 1. Positioneer het montage frame vlak onder
de Magnetic-Clik hulpstukken. 2. Beweeg het montageframe mooi vlak omhoog
tot een "magnetische klik" hoorbaar is. Het montageframe hangt tijdelijk vast aan de magneten van Magnetic-Click hulpstukken. De definitieve bevestiging van het montageframe volgt in de volgende stappen.

5 Bevestig het montageframe
Trek en belast het montageframe niet, om het loskomen van de magneten te voorkomen.
1. Draai de 2 zwarte handmoeren los. 2. Schuif het eindstuk tegen de zijwand van
de kast. 3. Herhaal bij de overige 3 zijden.
6 1. Fixeer het eindstuk met de 3 schroeven (906687 uit zakje A) zoals op de tekening.
2. Draai de 2 zwarte handmoeren wederom handvast aan.
3. Herhaal bij de overige 3 zijden.
Het montageframe is nu stevig in de kast gemonteerd.

7 Verwijder de tussenprofielen 1. Verwijder met een schroevendraaier de 4 schroeven. 2. Trek voorzichtig met twee handen het tussenprofiel van de Magnetic-Click hulpstukken. 3. Herhaal aan de andere zijde.
8 Verwijder de Magnetic-Click hulpstukken 1. Hou de metalen bus goed vast. 2. Draai van bovenaf het blauwe bovendeel van de metalen bus. 3. Herhaal deze handeling voor elke kookzone.

9 Klik de verwijderde metalen bussen op de magneten van de tussenprofielen en bewaar deze voor later.
10 Ontvet de gaten voor de centerpoints in het werkblad 1. Ontvet de binnenzijde en bovenzijde van het gat in het werkblad met het meegeleverde ontvettingsdoekje (661057). 2. Herhaal deze handeling voor elke kookzone. 3. Laat het ontvettingsmiddel 10 seconden verdampen. Het montageframe is nu voorbereid voor montage van de inductiemodules.

12 Plaats de rechtse inductiemodule
Voorzichting: aan de bovenzijde van de inductiemodule steken twee blauwe beschermhulzen uit. Hierin zitten de sensoren. Let op, deze zijn kwetsbaar. 1. Neem de rechter inductiemodule (53005002) vast. 2. De sticker "FRONT" is aan de voorzijde van de inductiemodule zichtbaar. De stroomkabel is dan naar de zijkant van de kast gepositioneerd. 3. Positioneer de module met de beschermhulzen net onder de uitsparingen van de centerpoints. 4. Duw de inductiemodule opwaarts tot u een stevige magnetische klik hoort. 5. De inductiemodule blijft nu aan de magneten hangen.
Trek en belast de module niet, om het loskomen van de magneten te voorkomen.

13 Bevestig de rechtse inductiemodule 1. Plaats in de vier aangegeven gaten de 4 schroeven (53005022 uit zakje A). 2. Draai in volgorde zoals vermeld in de tekening met een schroevendraaier de 4 schroeven stapsgewijs aan tot de kop van de schroef net tegen de behuizing van de module komt. 3. Draai stapsgewijs de schroeven nu nogmaals volledig aan totdat de opening tussen uitsparing inductiemodule en het montageframe is verdwenen. Voer een visuele inspectie uit op alle 4 de zijden. (zie detailfoto's)

14 Plaats de linkse inductiemodule

15 Bevestig de linkse inductiemodule 1. Plaats in de vier aangegeven gaten de 4 schroeven (53005022 uit zakje A). 2. Draai in volgorde zoals vermeld in de tekening met een schroevendraaier de 4 schroeven stapsgewijs aan tot de kop van de schroef net tegen de behuizing van de module komt. 3. Draai stapsgewijs de schroeven nu nogmaals volledig aan totdat de visuele opening tussen uitsparing inductiemodule en het montageframe is verdwenen. Voer een visuele inspectie uit op alle 4 de zijden. (zie detailfoto's)

16 Plaats de siliconen dopjes Gebruik hiervoor zakje C. 1. De dopjes zorgen voor een waterdichte afsluiting. 2. De dopjes zijn conisch. De smalle zijde moet naar beneden wijzen. 3. Plaats de siliconen dopjes (530005090) van bovenaf in de opening van het werkblad. N.B: er zijn extra siliconen dopjes meegeleverd. 4. Duw de dopjes effen met het werkblad. 5. Herhaal deze handeling voor elke kookzone.
Als het dopje te ver of niet mooi vlak in het werkblad geduwd is, dan kan het dopje opnieuw verwijderd worden door aan de onderkant te duwen met de meegeleverde inbussteutel (53005145 uit zakje B). 19

17 Plaats de on/off-module en de contactfolie De on/off-module (53005094) en de contactfolie (53006246) worden onder het werkblad geplaatst. 1. Ontvet het vlak (zie tekening) met het meegeleverde ontvettingsdoekje (661057 uit zakje C). De onderzijde van het werkblad is ruw. Om pluisjes te voorkomen, maak een deppende beweging met het ontvettingsdoekje in plaats van te wrijven. 2. Laat het ontvettingsmiddel 10 seconden verdampen.

18 Plaats de contactfolie en de on/off-module op de juiste positie
Op de contactfolie en de on/off-module zijn de letters "L" en "R" weergegeven die de correcte oriëntatie aangeven. Zorg dat "L" naar links wordt gepositioneerd. Plaats de contactfolie tegen het werkblad De on/off-module is het hulpmiddel om de contactfolie juist te positioneren onder het werkblad. Doe dit als volgt: 1. Zorg dat de markering "L" op de contactfolie en de onderzijde van de on/off-module naar links is gepositioneerd. 2. Plaats de contactfolie op de on/off-module. De kleefzijde wijst naar de boven. 3. Verwijder de beschermstrip van de kleefzijde van de contactfolie.

4. Duw de stiften van de on/off-module in de desbetreffende uitsparingsgaatjes in het werkblad ("L" wijst naar de linkerzijde). Druk de on/off-module stevig aan.
5. Verwijder voorzichtig de on/off-module en zorg dat de contacfolie op z'n plaats blijft.
6. Check dat er geen luchtbellen tussen contactfolie en werkblad zit. Druk de contactfolie nog eens 5 seconden stevig aan.

Op onderzijde van de on/off-module duiden de letters "L" en "R" de correcte oriëntatie aan. Zorg dat "L" naar links wordt gepositioneerd.
1. Zorg dat de markering "L" op de behuizing van de on/off-module naar links is gepositioneerd.
2. Verwijder de beschermstrips van de kleefzijde van de on/off-module.

2.2 Elektrische aansluiting 1 Plaats de aansluitbox
1. Op de aansluitbox worden alle kabels aangesloten.
2. De aansluitbox kan enkel de grijze vlakken geplaatst worden. De gekozen plek dient ten alle tijden toegankelijk te zijn in verband met service.
3. Bevestig de aansluitbox met de meegeleverde schroeven (906687 uit zakje A).

Zorg ervoor dat het stroomcircuit waar het apparaat op aangesloten wordt, is uitgeschakeld.
De elektrische aansluiting dient aan een erkende vakman toevertrouwd te worden.
De aansluitbox moet ten alle tijden bereikbaar zijn in verband met service.
De garantie gaat verloren bij een verkeerde elektrische aansluiting.
Bewaar geen lange, puntige metalen voorwerpen in de lade onder de kookplaat.
Novy is niet verantwoordelijk indien de verbindingen niet worden gemaakt zoals aangeduid en/of indien de veiligheidswaarschuwingen niet worden nageleefd.

2 Verbind de stroomkabel tussen de inductiemodules en de aansluitbox De inductiemodules en de aansluitbox zijn voorzien van stickers met de vermelding: L (links) en R (rechts). De configuratie is afhankelijk van het type kookplaat.
1. Connecteer de stroomkabel (A) van de linkse inductiemodule (L) met de overeenstemmende letter op de aansluitbox.
2. Connecteer de stroomkabel (B) van de rechtse inductiemodule (R) met de overeenstemmende letter op de aansluitbox.
3. Zorg dat de stekkers volledig op de connectoren geklikt worden.
Het is ten strengste verboden de meegeleverde kabels in te korten of te verlengen. Als de kabels te lang zijn, bundel ze op een later moment netjes op.

6 Bind de kabels op
Het is ten strengste verboden de meegeleverde kabels in te korten of te verlengen. Als de kabels te lang zijn, bindt ze dan netjes op.
1. Zorg dat alle kabels middels de meegeleverde trekontlastingen (7530087) en kabelbinders (10237) netjes opgebonden worden. Zie op onderstaande foto's de aanbevolen manier van kabels opbinden.
2. De kabels niet knikken of inklemmen en uit de buurt van scherpe randen en hete delen houden.
Tip: Mogelijkheid om de trekontlastingen in het frame te kleven

7 Sluit de aansluitbox elektrisch aan
Waarschuwing: De installatie moet worden uitgevoerd volgens de geldende wetten, normen en reglementen rekening houdende met de technische specificaties opgegeven door de fabrikant.

1. Til het deksel van de aansluitbox op met behulp van een schroevendraaier.
2. Draai de bevestigingsschroef los en til de slangklem op met behulp van een schroevendraaier.
3. Bevestig de voedingskabel aan de aansluitklemmen volgens de afbeelding op de aansluitbox.
4. Hou rekening met de juiste draadsectie en automaat overeenkomstig geldende normen en wetgeving. Raadpleeg de tabel om het nominale vermogen per kring te bepalen.
5. Alle klemmen moeten aangespannen worden tot een koppel van 2 Nm m.b.v. een PZ2schroevendraaier.
6. Plaats de trekontlasting rond de voedingskabel en bevestig de schroef. De schroef moet aangespannen worden tot 0,8 Nm m.b.v. een PH2-schroevendraaier.
7. Sluit het deksel van de aansluitbox.

2. 8 Verwijder de sensor uit de beschermhuls
Voer onderstaande handeling voorzichtig uit om schade aan de sensoren te voorkomen. Trek niet te hard aan de sensorkabels. De sensoren worden beschermd door de blauwe beschermhulzen en steken door het werkblad. De beschermhulzen zijn gefixeerd in de inductiemodule. In de volgende stappen worden de beschermhulzen verwijderd. 1. Trek de sensor voorzichtig recht omhoog totdat het witte deel net boven de blauwe huls uitsteekt. 2. Duw de sensor en de sensorkabels door het lange gleufje van de blauwe huls naar beneden.

9 Draai de beschermhuls voorzichtig een kwartslag (90°) om de huls uit de fixatie te krijgen.
De draairichting verschilt per sensor en staat in de tekening vermeld.

10 Haal de sensorkabels door de lange gleuf van de blauwe beschermhuls en verwijder de beschermhuls. Herhaal deze handeling voor elke kookzone. Let op de draairichting om de beschermhuls correct te verwijderen (zie 9 ). De blauwe beschermhulzen heeft u niet meer nodig.

11 Bevestig de sensor in het centerpoint Gebruik hiervoor zakje B. 1. Plaats de centerpoint met de sleuf over de verdikking van de sensor en schuif deze volledig over de sensor. 2. Draai voorzichtig de twee inbusboutjes (53005037) handvast aan met de meegeleverde inbussleutel (53005145). N.B: er zijn extra inbusboutjes meegeleverd.

12 Controleer of de inbusboutjes geheel vlak zijn met de behuizing van de centerpoint. Herhaal deze handeling voor elke kookzone.
De inbusboutjes moeten geheel vlak zijn met de behuizing van de centerpoint. Als de centerpoint niet ver genoeg over de sensor is geplaatst, dan kunnen de inbusboutjes niet ver genoeg ingedraaid worden. De centerpoint past niet in het werkblad als de inbusboutjes uitsteken. Indien de inbusboutjes uitsteken: los de inbusboutjes, herpositioneer de centerpoint en herhaal bovenstaande handelingen.

2.3 Verbind de Novy controller met de kookplaat De Novy controller kan nu verbonden worden met de kookplaat. Om de kookplaat te bedienen, wordt de Novy controller gebruikt. Dit is een slimme bediening die een touchscreen combineert met een handige draai-/drukknop.

1 Schakel het stroomcircuit in waar het apparaat op aangesloten is. De controller staat in vakantiemodus om de batterij te sparen.
2 Plug de controller in meegeleverde lader en steek de lader in het stopcontact om vakantiemodus te verlaten. De bediening start op.
Volg de stappen in het scherm van de controller om deze te verbinden met de kookplaat.
Na het doorlopen van deze stappen is de controller verbonden met de kookplaat.

2.4 Test de werking van de sensoren Door te testen of de automatische pandectie juist werkt, wordt er gecontroleerd of de sensoren / inductiemodules goed zijn aangesloten alvorens de centerpoints te verlijmen in het werkblad. Bij pandetectie herkent de inductiekookplaat of er een pan gedetecteerd wordt op de kookzone. Om deze test veilig uit te voeren is er een pan nodig.
Het gebruik van de Novy controller is niet nodig tijdens deze test. Selecteer geen zone via de Novy controller en selecteer geen vermogen via de draaiknop van de Novy controller. Dit kan leiden tot gevaarlijke situaties omdat de installatie van het toestel niet volledig is afgerond.

Gebruik een pan om deze test veilig uit te voeren. 2 De aan-/uittoets bevindt zich rechts van de
statusindicatie. Druk op de toets om het apparaat te activeren. 3 Overeenkomstig het aantal kookzones branden nu 3 of 4 witte leds met een lichtintensiteit van 50%. Tevens zal de Novy controller oplichten.
Gebruik de Novy controller niet!

4 Plaats de pan op de meest rechtse centerpoint.
5 De meest rechtse statusled in het werkblad moet nu 100% wit branden.
6 Indien dit het geval is, herhaal deze test bij de overige centerpoints en controleer of de juiste indicatieled 100% wit brandt.

7 Indien de indicatieled niet correct gaat branden: - Schakel het stroomcircuit uit. - Controleer alle kabels op juiste en volledige connectie. - Voer de test opnieuw uit. - Bij juiste werking: ga verder met punt 8 . - Bij geen juiste werking: stop de installatie en neem contact op met de Novy hersteldienst.
8 Als de pandetectie correct werkt op alle kookzones, kan de installatie voortgezet worden. Schakel het stroomcircuit opnieuw uit.

9 Plaats de centerpoints in het werkblad Voor een waterdichte bevestiging moet de centerpoint verlijmd worden in het werkblad. Gebruik hiervoor uitsluitend de meegeleverde hittebestendig lijm (53005051).
Controleer de houdbaarheidsdatum van de lijm. Neem contact op met de Novy customer service indien de houdbaarheidsdatum is verstreken. De houdbaarheidsdatum staat vermeld op de tube.
Gebruik nooit lijm met een verstreken houdbaarheidsdatum. De hechting van de lijm neemt af zodra de houdbaarheidsdatum is verstreken. 42

La fiche de contrôle contient des points d'attention qui favorisent une installation correcte, ce qui est essentiel pour garantir le bon fonctionnement de la table de cuisson à induction Novy. Remettez l'exemplaire rempli à l'utilisateur avec le restant des documents de la cuisine/ de l'appareil de cuisine. Ouvrez l'emballage et mettez de côté tous les matériaux ; vous en aurez besoin lors des étapes suivantes.

17 Mise en place du module marche/arrêt et du film de contact Le module marche/arrêt (53005094) et le film de contact (53006246) sont placés sous le plan de travail. 1. Dégraissez la surface (voir croquis) avec le chiffon dégraissant fourni (661057 du sachet C). Le dessous du plan de travail est rugueux. Pour empêcher que le chiffon dégraissant ne peluche, faites des mouvements de tamponnement plutôt que de frottement. 2. Laissez le dégraissant s'évaporer pendant 10 secondes.

7 Raccordement électrique de la boîte de connexion
Avertissement : l'installation doit être réalisée conformément aux lois, standards et règlements en vigueur, en tenant compte des spécifications techniques fournies par le fabricant.

1. Soulevez le couvercle de la boîte de connexion à l'aide d'un tournevis.
2. Desserrez la vis de fixation et ouvrez le réducteur de tension à l'aide d'un tournevis plat.
3. Fixez le câble d'alimentation aux bornes selon l'illustration présente sur la boîte de connexion.
4. Tenez compte de la section correcte des fils et du contrôleur en fonction des normes et de la législation en vigueur. Référez-vous au tableau pour déterminer la puissance nominale par circuit.
5. Toutes les bornes doivent être serrées au couple de 2 Nm à l'aide d'un tournevis PZ2.
6. Placez le réducteur de tension autour du câble d'alimentation et serrez la vis. La vis doit être serrée à 0,8 Nm à l'aide d'un tournevis PH2.
7. Refermez le couvercle de la boîte de connexion.

Effectuez l'opération suivante avec précaution pour éviter d'endommager les capteurs. Ne tirez pas trop fort sur les câbles des capteurs. Les capteurs sont protégés par les manchettes de protection bleues et dépassent du plan de travail. Celles-ci sont fixées dans le module d'induction. Elles sont enlevées lors des étapes suivantes. 1. 2.4 Test du fonctionnement des capteurs Pour tester le bon fonctionnement de la détection automatique de casseroles, vérifiez que les capteurs/modules d'induction sont correctement connectés avant de coller les points centraux dans le plan de travail. Lors de la détection des casseroles, la table de cuisson à induction décèle la présence d'une casserole sur la zone de cuisson. Une casserole est nécessaire pour effectuer ce test en toute sécurité.
Il n'est pas nécessaire d'utiliser le Novy controller pendant ce test. Ne sélectionnez pas de zone via le Novy controller et ne modifiez pas la puissance via le bouton rotatif du Novy controller. Cela peut conduire à des situations dangereuses du fait que l'installation de l'appareil n'est pas complètement réalisée.

Beginnen Sie erst dann mit der Montage des Novy Induktionskochfelds, wenn alle Unterschränke und die Arbeitsplatte vollständig montiert und waagerecht ausgerichtet sind. Der Karton enthält ein Kontrollblatt. Folgen Sie diesem Kontrollblatt während der Installation sorgfältig und füllen Sie es wo nötig aus. Das Kontrollblatt enthält wichtige Beachtungspunkte, die bei der korrekten Installation Unterstützung bieten. Diese wiederum ist für die korrekte Funktion des Novy Induktionskochfelds unerlässlich. Händigen Sie das ausgefüllte Exemplar dem Anwender zusammen mit der übrigen Dokumentation zu Küche/ Küchengeräten aus. Öffnen Sie die Verpackung und legen Sie sämtliches Material griffbereit zur Seite; in den nächsten Schritten werden Sie dieses benötigen.

Das Gerät nicht montieren und anschließen, wenn die Komponenten und/oder Teile beim Transport beschädigt wurden. Für eine wasserdichte Befestigung werden die Centerpoints in der Arbeitsplatte verleimt. Verwenden Sie hierfür nur die mitgelieferte Tube Leim (53005051).

Entfetten Sie die Fläche (siehe Zeichnung) mit dem mitgelieferten Entfettungstuch (661057 aus Beutel C) Die Unterseite der Arbeitsplatte ist rau. Um Fusselbildung zu vermeiden, sollten Sie eine tupfende Bewegung mit dem Entfettungstuch ausführen, keine reibende. 2. Lassen Sie das Entfettungsmittel 10 Sekunden lang verdunsten.

7 Nehmen Sie den elektrischen Anschluss der Anschlussdose vor
Warnung: Die Installation muss gemäß geltenden Gesetzen, Normen und Vorschriften unter Berücksichtigung der durch den Hersteller genannten Spezifikationen erfolgen.

1. Heben Sie den Deckel der Anschlussdose mit Hilfe eines Schraubendrehers ab.
2. Lösen Sie die Befestigungsschraube und öffnen Sie die Zugentlastung mit Hilfe eines flachen Schraubendrehers.
3. Befestigen Sie das Versorgungskabel an den Anschlussklemmen an der Anschlussdose, wie auf der Zeichnung dargestellt.
4. Achten Sie darauf, dass Kabelquerschnitt und Leitungsschutzschalter geltenden Normen und gesetzlichen Bestimmungen entsprechen. Ziehen Sie die Tabelle heran, um die Nennleistung je Stromkreis zu bestimmen.
5. Alle Klemmen müssen mit Hilfe eines PZ2Schraubendrehers auf ein Drehmoment von 2 Nm angezogen werden.
6. Platzieren Sie die Zugentlastung rund um das Versorgungskabel und befestigen Sie die Schraube. Diese muss mit Hilfe eines PH2Schraubendrehers auf 0,8 Nm angezogen werden.
7. Schließen Sie den Deckel der Anschlussdose.

Do not start installing the Novy induction hob until all base cabinets and the worktop are fully assembled and levelled. There is a control sheet inside the box. On the diffuser and the on/off module, the letters `L' and `R' indicate the correct orientation. Make sure `L' is positioned to the left. Place the diffuser against the worktop The on/off module helps positioning the diffuser correctly below the worktop. Do this as follows: 1. Make sure the marking `L' on the diffuser and the underside of the on/off module is positioned to the left. 2. Place the diffuser on the on/off module. The adhesive side faces upwards. 3. Remove the protective strip from the adhesive side of the diffuser.

6 Tie up the cables

7 Connect the connection box electrically
Warning: The installation must be carried out in accordance with current laws, standards and regulations taking into account the technical specifications specified by the manufacturer.

1. Lift the cover of the connection box using a screwdriver.
2. Loosen the retaining screw and open the strain relief using a flathead screwdriver.
3. Attach the power cable to the terminals according to the illustration on the connection box.
4. Take into account the correct wire section and circuit breaker in accordance with applicable standards and legislation. Consult the table to determine the rated power per circuit.
5. All clamps should be tightened to a torque of 2 Nm using a PZ2 screwdriver.
6. Place the strain relief around the power cord and fasten the screw. The screw should be tightened to 0.8 Nm using a PH2 screwdriver.
7. Close the cover of the connection box.

Perform the following operation carefully to avoid damage to the sensors. Do no excessively pull on the sensor cables. 2.4 Test the operation of the sensors Testing whether the automatic pan detection works correctly verifies that the sensors/induction modules are properly connected before gluing the centrepoints into the worktop. Pan detection ensures the induction hob detects whether a pan is detected on the cooking zone. Safely performing this test requires a pan.
There is no need to use the Novy controller during this test. Do not select a zone on the Novy controller and do not select a power level using the knob of the Novy controller. This may lead to dangerous situations because the installation of the appliance has not yet been fully completed.
