Esprit DC Smart Series Installation Guide
Thanks for choosing our Esprit DC Smart Series ceiling fan. We strongly recommend that you read this manual carefully before installation.

Application
This fan can be installed on various ceiling types:
- Flat Surface/Ceiling: Standard installation.
- Slope Ceiling up to 15°: Suitable for slightly angled ceilings.
- Corrugated Ceiling: Not recommended for this ceiling type (indicated by crossed-out diagrams).
- Apex Ceiling: Suitable for angled apex ceilings.
How to Assemble
Step 1: Mount Bracket
Diagram Description (Fg.1): Shows the mounting bracket being secured to the ceiling using screws. Ensure screws are tightened on the bracket.
Step 2: Wire Connections
Diagram Description (Fg.2): Illustrates the wiring connections to the main power supply. Wire to main as illustrated.
How to Install Blades
Step 3: Attach Blades
Diagram Description (Fg.3): Shows the blades being attached to the bottom of the motor. Install the blades to the bottom of the motor. Tighten and secure each blade with the provided screw and washer. Repeat this procedure until all blades are installed.
NB: Ensure the blades do not get damaged or bent during the installation process, especially while the fan is on the ground. This can affect the fan's performance and balance, and is not covered under warranty.
Hanging the Fan
Step 4: Hang Fan Assembly
Diagram Description (Fg.4): Depicts the fan motor assembly being placed into the hanger bracket. Align the ball joint slot with the hanger bracket as illustrated.
Receiver Installation
Step 5: Install Receiver
Diagram Description (Fg.5): Shows the receiver being wired with quick connectors and inserted into the mounting bracket. Wire up the receiver with quick connectors and insert into the mounting bracket. Please ensure the antenna wire is safely folded inside the canopy cover before final assembly. Do not cut the antenna wire.
Important Reminders
- The receiver must be correctly installed in the mounting bracket.
- If the transmitter cannot control the receiver, check the following:
- Ensure the transmitter has sufficient battery.
- Check for any nearby remote-controlled products that might cause interference.
- Replace the battery if it is getting low, as this will affect the transmitter's sensitivity.
- Remove the battery from the transmitter when the fan is not used for a long time to avoid battery leaks.
- An isolation switch MUST be connected in the line.
Final Assembly
Step 6: Attach Canopy
Diagram Description (Fg.6): Illustrates attaching the canopy to the hanger bracket. After wiring is completed, attach the canopy to the hanger bracket by pushing upwards and twisting anti-clockwise. Tighten screws and ensure the canopy is not touching the ball joint.
Step 7: Install Bottom Cap
Diagram Description (Fg.7): Shows the installation of the shade cover. Install the shade cover as illustrated.
Step 8: Completion
Diagram Description (Fg.8): Indicates the final state of the installed fan. The installation is finished.
Wire Connections (Fan Only Model)
Diagram Description: A wiring diagram for the Fan Only Model shows connections for a 220-240V/AC 50/60Hz supply. It details connections from the AC power (Brown for L, Blue for N, Yellow/Green for Earth) to the receiver, and from the receiver to the fan motor (Black, Grey, Orange, Yellow/Green wires).
Smart Life App Pairing Process
Follow these steps to connect your fan to the Smart Life app:
- Download the "Smart Life" APP on your smart devices by scanning the QR code (Note: QR code excluded as per instructions).
- Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth on your smart devices. Ensure it's connected to a 2.4GHZ WIFI network.
- Open the APP and follow the steps to register a new user account or log in to an existing account.
- Put the fan into WiFi pairing mode. Refer to the main manual or the back of the remote for specific instructions. If successful, proceed to step 6.
- Reset Fan (if needed): If the fan has not entered pairing mode or is not working correctly, reset it. Turn the fan on, power off after 10 seconds, power on again after 15 seconds, then long press the "Fan Stop" button for 5 seconds. A "beep beep" sound indicates a successful reset. If no sound is heard, repeat the reset process.
- Once the fan is in pairing mode, open the Smart Life APP on your smart device. Click "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- The app should automatically search for the fan. The fan should appear on the screen within seconds.
Manual Add Option: If the fan is not found automatically, you can add it manually via the app: Navigate to Add Manually > Small Home Appliance > Fan.
Remote Control Pairing and Functions
WiFi/Remote Control Pairing
Fan Only Model:
- Turn on the ceiling fan.
- Within the first 20 seconds, continue pressing the designated pairing button (e.g., '6') until you hear a "beep" sound, indicating it is paired.
- If no "beep" sound is heard, repeat steps 1 and 2.
- Turn on the power.
- Within the first 20 seconds, press and hold the designated pairing button (e.g., 'Wi-Fi' or similar) until a "beep" sound is heard.
- Continue the connection process on your smart devices to complete pairing.
- If no "beep" sound is heard, repeat the above steps.
Fan LED Light Model: The pairing process is similar. Follow the same steps for remote pairing and entering WiFi pairing mode.
Fan and Light Functions:
- FAN OFF: Switches the fan off.
- SLEEP MODE: Turns the fan on at an extra low speed to create a gentle breeze.
- SPEED BUTTON: Controls fan speed from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
- NATURAL WIND MODE: Designed for comfort, speeds change randomly to simulate a natural breeze.
- FORWARD AND REVERSAL: Switches between summer (downdraft) and winter (updraft) modes.
- TIMER (1H/4H/8H): Sets a preset timer for the fan and light to stop automatically.
- WIFI BUTTON: Press and hold for 20 seconds to enter WiFi matching mode.
- LIGHT ON/OFF: Controls the fan's light.
- CCT: Adjusts the color temperature of the light (Warm white 2700K, Neutral white 4000K, Cool white 6500K).
- LED +/-: Increases or decreases the brightness of the light.

⚠️ WARNING:
- Installation of fans MUST follow SAA standards and meet local authority regulations.
- Installation MUST be carried out by a qualified and licensed electrician.
- The fan and light MUST be earthed.
- The bracket MUST be firmly attached to a flat solid structure or timber frame.
- DO NOT mix blades from one model to another; all blades MUST be replaced if damaged.
- The warranty is VOID if the product is not installed according to this installation guide.
