4.2 Packaging Procedure:
- Place the OmniStand™ Balance System (Item 1) into the base cardboard packaging (Item 2). This step may require a two-person lift. Ensure the unit's wheels are in the "locked" position.
- Cover the OmniStand™ unit with a plastic polybag.
- Place the rail cover packaging (Item 5) over the top rails of the unit.
- Position the short packaging columns (Item 3) upright within the base packing, resting them on the base of the OmniStand™ (Item 1).
- Position the long packaging columns (Item 4) upright on the base cardboard packaging (Item 2).
- Include the User Manual (PN 51510) with the package. Secure it to the top bar of the balance trainer using a tie wrap.
- Carefully lift the top packaging dust cover (Item 6) onto the unit, ensuring its walls fit snugly inside the base cardboard (Item 2). This may require a two-person lift.
- Affix the asset tag label (Item 7) to the exterior of the fully packaged device.
- Apply one label LBL 0256 (Item 9) to each side of the dust cover and two labels to the top of the package.
- Scan the asset tag barcode into the FGI system.
Visual aids in the original document show the placement of these components and the final packaged state. A "Fragile Medical Equipment" label is also applied.
