Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse
Setup Guide
Introduction
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using the Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse. It covers installation, button customization, battery management, and software integration with Logitech G HUB.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Connecting the Receiver
Locate the wireless receiver, typically found attached to the USB adapter within the accessories box. Connect one end of the provided cable to your computer and the other end to the USB adapter and receiver.
Diagram shows connecting the USB receiver to a computer via the provided cable. An alternative connection directly to the PC is also mentioned.
While you can plug the receiver directly into your PC, using the cable and adapter in wireless mode is recommended to improve connectivity and provide easier access to the charging cable.
Step 2: Powering On the Mouse
Turn on the mouse using the power switch located on the underside of the mouse.

Charging and Connectivity
Step 4: Charging the Mouse
To charge the mouse, disconnect the cable from the adapter and plug it into the front of the mouse. The mouse will automatically switch to wired data transmission mode when connected to the PC. A full battery charge typically takes about 2 hours via a USB port.

Wireless Connectivity Tips:
- Keep the mouse and receiver at least 2 meters (approx. 6.5 feet) away from any wireless router or other 2.4 GHz wireless devices to minimize interference.
- The G502 LIGHTSPEED mouse has a maximum wireless range of 10 meters (approx. 33 feet). For optimal performance in environments with wireless interference, and to ensure easy access to the charging cable, it is recommended to place the receiver within 20 cm (approx. 8 inches) of the mouse.
Diagrams illustrate maintaining a distance of at least 2 meters from wireless routers and placing the receiver within 20 cm of the mouse for optimal performance.

Diagrams illustrate the LED indicator lights on the mouse, showing different battery charge levels with green and red bars.
Tips:
- The bottom indicator light blinks red when the battery charge is 15% or less. In this case, connect your mouse to charge it.
- The charge level, power consumption, and estimated remaining battery life can be viewed within Logitech G HUB.
Note: Battery life and capacity may vary with time and usage. Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of recharge cycles.
