ActronAir NEO Installation and Commissioning
Making installation easier, whilst doing our part for the environment.
This document provides essential information for the installation and commissioning of the ActronAir NEO controller. For a comprehensive online resource including mounting, wiring, and guided videos, please visit neo.actronair.com.au/install.
Control Installation
Location
- Ensure the wall controller is installed within range of applicable WiFi access points. Refer to your unit access point manual for specific distances.
- Do not install on external walls, directly below supply air grilles, or near other heat sources that may affect sensor readings.
- Avoid installing near metallic objects or power cables that could interfere with wireless data signals.
- Ensure ample space around the controller (100mm minimum) for proper air temperature reading and service access.
- Use provided wall anchors and screws for secure mounting.
Mounting Height: Approximately 1.5m from the ground.
Mounting Bracket
Dimensions: 100mm CTR, Ø36mm
Mounting Method:
- Wire controller via RJ45 or hard wire (refer to pages 6 and 7 for wiring instructions).
- Latch top of controller onto retaining hooks on bracket.
- Swing controller down, allowing magnets to catch and secure in place.
NOTE: Use provided screws. Wall mates or wall plugs should be flush with the wall. Ensure adequate hole clearance and wall cavity depth to avoid unnecessary issues.
RJ45 Installation
Power Supply: Use Yellow CatSE spec cables with RJ45 connectors and cable boots.
Ferrite clips, if supplied, should be placed approximately 200mm and 400mm from the NEO.
Hard Wired Installation
Power Supply: Use Yellow CatSE spec cables.
Ferrite clips, if supplied, should be placed approximately 200mm and 400mm from the NEO.

Commissioning

- Installation and servicing should only be performed by licensed HVAC technicians. Improper service may void the warranty and could lead to severe injury or death.
- Always observe prevailing WH&S regulations and safe work practices.
- Ensure installation complies with relevant council regulations and building code standards.
- All electrical wiring must comply with current electrical authority regulations and wiring diagrams.
- This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless supervised. Ensure children do not play with the appliance.
- Secure power cords and control cables.
