Operating Instructions
Key Operations
- ON/C-CE: Power On / Clear / Clear Error (Clears the last entry)
- Right Shift ➡️: Shifts the displayed value to the right and deletes the last digit.
- Number Keys: 0-9, .
- Function Keys: +, -, ×, ÷, =, %
- Memory Keys:
- M+: Memory Plus (Adds the displayed value to the independent memory.)
- M-: Memory Minus (Subtracts the displayed value from the independent memory.)
- MRC: Memory Recall / Memory Clear
LCD Display Indicators
- M (MEMORY): Indicates the independent memory is in use.
- (- MINUS): Indicates a negative sign.
- E (ERROR): Appears when the result exceeds the maximum displayable digits.
Press "ON/C-CE" to clear all values.
Battery Replacement
The calculator features two power sources: Solar energy and a 1.5V battery.
Auto Power-off: The device automatically shuts down after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity.
If the display becomes blurry, it indicates that the battery power is nearly depleted. You can use the solar panel for power or replace the battery to make the display clear again.
Warranty Information
Manufacturer: Jakob Maul GmbH
Warranty Period: 5 years from the date of sale to the first user.
Coverage: The warranty covers the repair of defects in the production process or in the materials used.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage attributable to improper handling, mechanical damage, natural wear and tear, or damage to batteries (if supplied). Tampering by parties other than the supplier voids the guarantee. No liability is accepted for consequential damages. Complaints regarding recognizable defects must be reported within fourteen days after receipt of the goods. Hidden defects should be notified immediately upon discovery. Goods which have been justifiably rejected will be repaired. If MAUL does not remedy the defect within a reasonable period, the buyer is entitled to withdraw from the contract. In case of warranty claims, please forward the device with the receipt to the point of sale. Please provide your name, address, and a description of the defect. For defects occurring outside the warranty period, repair or replacement is possible subject to payment of costs. In such cases, please contact the point of sale again.
Disposal Information
Products marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol should not be disposed of in unsorted household waste. They must be collected separately as electronic waste. Local authorities can provide information on available disposal options and facilities.
