MUSIC Knob(total of 16 levels) Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the input volume of the accompaniment music (from BT, MUSIC jack, and OTG jack). 2. MIC knob(total of 16 levels) Rotate the knobs clockwise to control the input volume (from the 6.35mm DYNAMIC jack, 6.35mm INST jack, 3.5mm INST jack, two 3.5mm MIC jacks, and the HEADSET jack). 3. 12-step auto tune indicator When you short press the AUTO TUNE button, the indicator light will cycle through and display the corresponding autotune setting. 4. HIGH, MID, LOW knobs The G9 features HIGH, MID, and LOW knobs to adjust the treble, midrange, and bass effects from various inputs (6.35mm DYNAMIC jack, 6.35mm INST jack, 3.5mm INST jack, two 3.5mm MIC jacks, and the HEADSET jack). The knob scale is centered at 0, indicating no EQ adjustment. Rotating the knobs to the left reduces the effect, while rotating to the right increases it. Adjustments are displayed on the screen from 01 to 08. 5. REV-D, REV-L knobs(total of 16 levels) Rotate the knobs to adjust the depth and length of the reverb effect for audio (from the 6.35mm DYNAMIC jack, 6.35mm INST jack, 3.5mm INST jack, two 3.5mm MIC jacks, and the HEADSET jack). There are a total of 16 levels of adjustment.Reverb effect depth refers to the sense of space in the reverb effect. Reverb effect length refers to the duration of the reverb effect. Tip: The reverb effect does not impact the original sound mode. 6. #b PITCH knobs (total of 16 levels) Rotate the knob to raise or lower the pitch level of the singer's vocals for the current music song (only for the accompaniment music inputted via Bluetooth and the MUSIC jack). 7. OUT knobs(total of 16 levels) Rotate the knob clockwise to adjust the main output volume (from the LIVE1, LIVE2 jacks, and USB-C OTG jack) for recording, podcasting, streaming, or gaming devices. 10. DENOISE button Short press the button to turn on the noise reduction function and cycle through the denoising levels. There are two levels of noise reduction: Level 1: Intelligent filtering of surrounding noise (picked up by the mic) to reduce lower noise levels. Level 2: Intelligent filtering of surrounding noise (picked up by the mic) to reduce higher noise levels. Press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds to turn off the denoise function. 12. BT button BT ID: G9 MIXER Short press to turn the Bluetooth function on/off. Tips: The Bluetooth feature is only for wireless music accompaniment. 13. LOOPBACK button Short press to turn the Loopback feature on/off (for PC connection) after power on. 11 Button Guide(4) Turn on LOOPBACK: the button light flashes. The audio sent to the mixer via USB-C will be sent back to the USB-connected device. The audio resources inside the PC (music, video, game, web, etc.) can be heard by the streaming audience or recorded by a recording device. Turn off LOOPBACK: the button light is off. The audio sent to the mixer via USB-C can be heard through the monitoring headphones but will not be recorded or heard by the audience. Disabling the Loopback feature can help avoid unwanted echoes. 14. FOLLOW SINGING button Short press to turn on the FOLLOW SINGING function and cycle between the FOLLOW SINGING mode and REMOVE VOCAL mode. Enable Follow Singing Mode: The mixer will eliminate 85% of the vocal part in the current music song, leaving only the accompaniment. The accompaniment part can be heard in the streaming or recording audio, while you can hear the entire music song through your monitoring headphones. This mode is great for music streaming. Enable Remove Vocal Mode: The mixer eliminates 85% of the vocal part in the music song, retaining only the accompaniment. Only the accompaniment can be heard through the headphones, streaming audio, or recording audio. Tips: This feature works only for music from the Bluetooth and MUSIC jacks. Note: Some accompaniments and song tracks may vary, and the vocal part of the song may not be completely removed. 15. AUTO TUNE button Short press the button to cycle through 12 steps of autotune (Ab, A, Bb, B, C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, Gb, G). Press any other voice mode button to exit autotune mode. 16. Voice Changer button Short press the button to cycle through 4 voice changer modes (Female voice, Uncle voice, Baby voice, Magic sound). Each mode has a preset reverb effect, which can be adjusted using the REV-D and REV-L knobs. Press any other voice mode button to exit this mode. Tips: For better voice-changing effects, optimize your sound by adjusting knobs such as HIGH, MID, LOW, PITCH, REV-D, and REV-L. 12 Button Guide(5) 17. REVERB MODE button Short press the button to cycle through the preset reverb effect modes: KTV mode, Professional mode, MC mode, Streamer mode, and Popular mode. Tips: Adjust the desired reverb effect using the REV-D and REV-L knobs. 18. button Enabling this function will mute all audio. The mixer will not input or output any audio. 19. button Enabling this function will mute the mic channels. The mixer will not input any mic audio. 20. button Short press the button to turn the microphone monitoring function on/off. It is enabled by default. If disabled, the microphone audio will not be heard through the headphones, but will still be output to the recording/streaming devices. 21. ORIGINAL SOUND button Short press the button to switch to the original sound mode. Tips: Reverb, pitch, and other effects do not affect the original sound mode. 22. A B button (2 Custom Sound Effects) Press and hold the A or B button for 3 seconds to save the current voice mode (including all volumes, mic EQ, reverb, pitch, and auto-tune settings). To use the saved voice mode, simply short press the A or B button. To update the saved voice mode, press and hold the button again. 23. C D button (2 Custom Scene Effects) Press and hold the C or D button for 1.5 seconds to start recording. Each button can store up to 10 seconds of audio. To replace the stored audio, simply repeat the process by pressing and holding the button again. 13 Button Guide(6) 24. 12 Preset Scene Effects For live streaming atmosphere, long press the "1" button to increase the volume of the Scene Effects. Long press the "4" button to decrease the volume of the Scene Effects. Tips: These 12 Scene Effects are pre-set and fixed, and cannot be customized. Tip: When the battery is low, you may experience increased noise. As the power continues to deplete, the noise will become progressively louder. Please charge the mixer as soon as possible. 3.OTG Jack The G9's USB-C port functions as a data interface for audio transmission with computers and mobile devices, supporting recording, streaming, podcasting, and gaming. Input volume is controlled by the "MUSIC" knob. Output volume is adjusted using the "OUT" knob. 4.LIVE 1, 2 Jack These two 3.5mm TRRS output ports send mixed audio to smartphones and tablets via a 3.5mm TRRS cable. They support multiple outputs simultaneously for mobile recording. While chatting, the other party's voice can be input, but the mixer cannot control or record their audio volume. 5.MUSIC Jack A 3.5mm input port for accompaniment music resources. Connect your source or device to the mixer via a 3.5mm audio cable to play background music during streaming or recording. It can be connected to a smartphone's 3.5mm jack or a PC's headphone jack. The input volume from this port is controlled by the "MUSIC" knob. 6.DYNAMIC Jack A 6.35mm dynamic microphone input port. The input volume is controlled by the "MIC" knob. 15 Connector Guide(2) 7.INST Jack 6.35mm and 3.5mm input ports for musical instrument devices. The input volume from the INST ports is controlled by the "MIC" knob. Tip: Audio from musical instrument devices connected to these ports will be affected by various effects, such as reverb, 3-band EQ, voice changer modes, reverb modes, auto-tune, etc. 8.SPK Jack 3.5mm TRS output port for connecting audio playback devices, such as speakers or headphones. The output volume from this port is controlled by the "MON" knob. 9.HEADSET Jack A 3.5mm TRRS port for connecting a headset with a microphone. Used for vocal input via the headset, and also allows real-time monitoring of all sound sources simultaneously. The monitoring volume is controlled by the "MON" knob. The input volume is controlled by the "MIC" knob. 10.MIC 1, 2 Jack 3.5mm TRS ports for connecting condenser microphones (with an XLR to 3.5mm adapter). The input volume from these ports is controlled by the "MIC" knob. 11.MONITORING Jack Two 3.5mm ports for real-time monitoring of all sound sources from the mixer. Supports TRS/TRRS headphones. The monitoring volume is controlled by the "MON" knob. 16 Troubleshooting(FAQ)(1) Q: The device does not work, or there is no sound suddenly. Possible solutions: The battery is dead, please connect to USB cable to charge before use. Q: The sound is not normal. Possible solutions: 1. This device build in a variety of preseted voice modes, please switch to original sound mode 2. Check whether the headphone is incorrectly inserted in the mark position Q: Auto Ducking function not working Possible solutions: It doesn't work on a voice call, it works on podcast or live streaming with music. Q: There is a lot of noise during the live streaming. Possible solutions: 1. Check whether the battery is close to a dead state, please charge it in time; 2. Whether the earphone is plugged into the corresponding identification position; 3. Appropriately lower the microphone input volume, and turn on noise reduction function; 4. Check whether the headset is inserted in place, and then plug in the headset again; 5. If the PC is live streaming, and some laptops have interfering the mixer, try to unplug the computer's charging cable; Q: The live streaming sound is small or silent. Possible solutions: 1. Check whether the cable connection is plugged into the live streaming port; 2. Replace audio cable or USB cable to check if whether the cable is faulty; 3. Check whether the Main Outout fader is turned on to the maximum; Q: The audience can't hear the music when live streaming, and it has no effect Possible solutions: 1. Check whether the USB cable is plugged into the USB-C OTG port. 2. Check whether the Dry/Wet button is turned on and enable the dry recording mode. 3. Check whether the "LOOPBACK" function is enabled when streaming or recording on computers. Q: The microphone has no sound. Possible solutions: 1. Check the insertion position of the mic cable and make sure that the logo is face to you, or replacing the microphone cable to check if the microphone cable is faulty; 2. Increase gradually the mic volume via Mic knob and Monitoring volume via Monitor Output fader; 3. Please check if Mute is enabled or if monitoring feature is disabled 17 Troubleshooting(FAQ)(2) Q: Can not be used with guitar Possible solutions: It should be inserted into the 3.5mm "INST" jack, if 6.35mm plug, Please use an adapter or insert into the LINE IN jack(but the input volume of guitar only can be adjusted by the Mic knob). Q: Voice Changer effect can not be adjusted Possible solutions: It is recommended to adjust the voice change effect in the sound change mode through knobs such as Timbre, Pitch, Reverb, Mic EQ, etc. Q: I can't hear the accompaniment in the live stream, but I can hear it in the monitoring headset. Possible solutions: a. The phone might not recognize the audio interface. Unplug and re-plug the live streaming cable, ensuring a secure connection. Wait a few seconds and try again. b. On Android, check if the headphone icon appears in the status bar to confirm the connection. (See Figure 1) c. On iPhone, swipe down the status bar, tap the sound icon, and ensure G9 Mixer is listed as the connected device.
