SIDE RAIL CLAMPING FOR THE 2022 AND NEWER TOYOTA TUNDRA W/O DECK RAIL SYSTEM
The 2022 and newer Toyota Tundra truck beds without the deck rail system will require these special clamps. Please review the clamping instructions below.
Clamping Locations and Clamping Procedure
Begin clamping the driver side rail to the truck bed. Start in the middle and evenly space 3 clamps along the rail. You should leave approximately 6 inches on each end of the rail. Finger tighten the clamps, making sure the teeth properly engage with the grooves of the side rail. Tighten all clamps with a 1/2” socket or wrench. Repeat this step for the passenger side rail. Make sure all clamps are tightened properly before operating the vehicle.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
- 1/2" wrench or socket
TOOLS RECOMMENDED:
- Spring clamps
NOTE: The use of spring clamps to hold the side rail in place can assist during the installation process.
