Warranty Information
Xeric offers a limited warranty of defects in materials and manufacturing for one (1) year from the original purchase date from an authorized Xeric dealer. This warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover normal wear and tear, batteries, crystal, watch case, strap, bracelet, loss, or theft. Tampering with the watch, such as opening the caseback, operating buttons underwater, or exposing the watch to moisture by not properly securing the crown, will void the warranty. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Xeric reserves the right to refuse warranty claims or repairs if the watch shows evidence of excessive wear or misuse.
Setting Instructions
Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to Position #3.
- Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands.
- Push the crown back to Position #1.
Setting the Moonphase
- Carefully remove the plastic stopper from the crown using your fingers or fingernails. Do not use a sharp instrument.
- Pull the crown out to position #2. Rotate the crown counterclockwise to change the moon phase. Continue rotating until the full moon is displayed. Keep the crown in position #2.
- Refer to the full moon calendar to calculate days passed since the last full moon. Rotate the crown slowly counterclockwise, listening for a distinctive "click" for each day. Ensure the number of clicks matches the days passed since the last full moon.
- Push the crown into position #1 for normal timekeeping.
