Connecting the Gamepad
To connect the Trust GXT 540 Yula Wired Gamepad to your PC, plug the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer. This is indicated by an arrow pointing from the USB connector to a USB port on a PC tower illustration.
Selecting the Input Mode
The gamepad features a switch to select between two input modes: X-input and Direct-input. This is shown on an illustration of the gamepad's underside with a slider switch.
- X-input: For modern games and compatibility with Xbox controllers.
- Direct-input: For older games or specific compatibility needs.
Powering On
Press the power button to turn on the gamepad. The button is highlighted in an illustration of the gamepad.
Configuring in Windows
To configure and test the gamepad in Windows:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Navigate to "Devices and Printers".
- Locate and double-click on "Game Controllers".
- Select the gamepad from the list and click "Properties".
- In the Properties window, you can test the buttons, analog sticks, and vibration. The "Settings" tab allows for calibration if needed. This process is illustrated with screenshots of Windows dialog boxes.
