Tools

Step 1 - Battery Removal

Pry the back cover off the back of the phone.

The back cover of the phone is removed by carefully prying it away from the main body. This typically involves inserting a thin tool, like a spudger, into a seam and gently levering the cover off.

Step 2 - Lifting the Battery

Insert a spudger into the small notch at the base of the battery.

Once the back cover is removed, locate the battery. At the base of the battery, there is a small notch. Insert the spudger into this notch.
