Type-C/GPS port HOW TO USE NV BINOCULARS BATTERY AND SD CARD INSTALLATION Install Battery Unscrew the battery compartment cover by hand, insert the battery,and then install the battery compartment cover. Charging Your Device After installing the lithium battery, you will need to charge the device. Open the Rubber Cap on the bottom of your device to find the charging port and memory card slot. Insert the USB type-C end of the included charging cable into the charging port, then insert the standard USB end into a USB power port such as one on a PC or a wall adapter. Install Micro SD Card · Open the rubber cap covering the Type-C Port and Micro SD Slot, and insert a micro SD card (up to 128 GB, class 10 or greater for best results with video files) into the Micro SD Slot (metal contacts facing down, see card icon right of slot for correct orientation). · If you will only use Night Vision Binoculars for "live" viewing and do not wish to use it for photos/videos, the unit will function normally without a card. WARNING: NEVER LOOK AT THE SUN THROUGH THIS NIGHT VISION UNIT (OR ANY OTHER OPTICAL INSTRUMENT). IT MAY PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR EYES AS WELL AS THE UNIT. Powering On & Off Powering On Press and hold the Power button to power on your night vision binoculars. Powering off Press and hold the Power button to power off your night vision binoculars. Setting up your night vision Binocular: 1. Power on your device and look at the screen. 2. Adjust the sharpness by turning the focus wheel in either direction until it becomes clear. 3. Zoom up to 8x by pressing and holding the Up/Zoom+ button(4) until you reach your desired level. If you keep pressing the Down/Zoom- button(3), you will zoom down to the default of 1X. 4. When using the binoculars at night, the lens should automatically adjust to the brightness level.Yon can use this night vision binoculars without IR light and get color image on screen. For better night vision performance,you can tap the IR button (11) to turn on IR light to get clear black/white image on screen.When IR light on,you can tap UP(4) or down(3) button to adjust the IR brightness from levels 1 to level 7 to get better image quality and night vision distance.You can tap IR button(11) again to turn off IR light. Taking video: 1. When you power on your night vision night vision binoculars, it will automatically start on video Mode. You should see the video icon in the upper left corner of your LCD screen. If you do not see the camera icon, short press the Mode/Menu button (10) until it appears. 2. Adjust the image sharpness by turning the focus wheel (14).For better night vision performance,you can tap IR button to turn on IR light,and adjust the IR light brightness level by Pressing the UP (4)or Down(3) button . 3. Press the OK/Confirm button (2) to capture the video.Press it again to stop recording video and the video file will be saved on Memory card automatically. Taking photo: 1. In Standby mode, short tap the Mode/Menu button (10) until you see the camera icon in the upper left corner of your screen. 2. Adjust the image sharpness by turning the focus wheel (14). For better night vision performance,you can tap IR button to turn on IR light,and adjust the IR light brightness level by Pressing the UP(4) or Down(3) button. 3. Press the OK/Confirm (2) button to capture the picture. And the photo will be saved on Memory card automatically. Playback mode: 1. In Standby mode, press the Mode/Menu button (10) until you see the playback icon or in the upper left corner of your screen. 2. The last file that had been saved will be displayed on the LCD screen. If it is a photo, the file icon will appear in the upper left of the screen,if it is a video, the file icon will appear in the upper left of the screen.Photo or video name and file size will be displayed on the upper right of the screen. 3. Use the Up (4) and Down (3) buttons to navigate through the saved files on your SD card.Tap OK button to review or play the photo or video file that you selected! 4. In playback mode,Press and hold the Mode/Menu button (10) to enter the file delete menu.There are two options:Delete or protect. Use the Up (4) / Down (3) button to navigate the choices and press the OK button (2) to confirm. In the delete menu, you can choose to delete the current file or delete all files. In the protect menu, you can choose to lock /unlock the current file or lock /unlock all files.If you choose to protect current or protect all, a protection icon will appears to the right of the playback icon of the protected file. Protected files cannot be deleted locally.If you want to delete a protected file, please enter protect menu to unlock the file first, and then enter the delete menu to do the deletion operation.You also can connect binoculars camera with computer to delete the file on the memory card or taking out memory card,read it on computer and delete the file on memory card via computer. Connect to a computer 1. Connect this night vision binoculars with your computer via USB cable. 2. Power on your night vision binoculars,Your binoculars' display screen will show two options: Mass storage and PC camera. 3. Select Mass storage,your computer will read the night vision binoculars' memory card,you can transfer files from memory card onto your computer or delete the video and photo files on memory card. 4. Select PC camera, this night vision binoculars will work as PC camera. Accessing Menus When you power on your night vision binoculars, it will automatically start in video Mode.Pressing and holding the Mode/Menu button (10) will take you to the video recording setup menu. Here you can setup the video resolution, loop recording time,Exposure,record audio On/Off,Date stamp On/Off. Search "Viidure" application on Google play store or APP store, Download and install this application on your smartphone. Or Scan below QR code to download and install "Viidure" application on your smartphone. 2. Pressing and holding the Mode/Menu button (10) to access video recording setting menu,tap Mode/Menu button again you can enter night vision binoculars setting page.On night vision binoculars setting menu ,choose "WIFI" function and set it "on". You will see SSID:DT69-xxxxxxxxxxxx and PWD:12345678(password) on the screen. 3. After the WIFI function is turned on,you can see this night vision binoculars WiFi name on your smartphone WiFi list.Connect your smartphone with this WIFI signal. Run the "Viidure" application one your smartphone and press"Add camera" on application,it will automatically search for the corresponding WIFI signal and connect.After successful connection, the software will jump to the real-time screen and start recording. Remarks:After connecting the night vision binoculars to your smartphone, you can set various parameters of the night vision binoculars through the "Viidure" application software. At this point, click the "OK/confirm" button(2) on the night vision binoculars to stop the WIFI connection and turn off the WiFi function.
