Purpose

The ducted fan is an ideal solution for bathrooms and toilets. It supports gravitational ventilation and can be installed in rooms with individual ventilation ducts, in residential buildings for collective housing, and public use. It is not suitable for rooms where a corrosive or explosive atmosphere may be present.

  • The equipment is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacity.
  • The equipment is not intended for children to play with.
  • According to PN-HD-60364, a fan may not be installed in protection zones 0 and 1 in rooms with a bath or shower.

Installation and Operation

The fan should be installed in place of the ventilation grille using wall plugs and the prepared holes in the fan body. For through-flow fans, the fan is part of the ventilation system. Fans with a connecting cable, plug, and on/off switch are started by plugging into a 230V~ mains socket and activating the switch. Fans with electronic systems (T, HT, FT, VT, VHT, VFT) connect directly to the electrical system using terminal strips (LN or LNS).

ATTENTION: Adjustments to electronic system fans must only be made after disconnecting the power supply (e.g., switching off the fuse). Do not use neon or LED switches to turn on fans with electronic systems.

Fan Modes

T - Fan with Timer

Fan activation requires connection to an electrical switch. The existing room light switch or an independent switch can be used. After the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3) is turned off, the fan continues to run for a pre-set delay time (0.5 to 30 minutes), set by the control potentiometer.

VT - Timer Fan with KOMFORT Module

This fan includes the T system plus a comfort system. Switches (Fig. 2) allow setting two speeds (silent mode via Switch 1 ON, high speed via Switch 1 OFF) and selecting automatic operation types. Switch 2 ON allows the fan to be switched off when the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3) is on; it will then run in timed mode after the ON/OFF switch is turned off. Switch 2 OFF means the fan runs when the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3) is active. The fan enters timed mode when the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3) is switched off and stops after the time set on potentiometer T. Transition to timed mode is signaled by a flashing LED.

VFT - Fan with Photocell and KOMFORT Module

This fan includes the VT system and a photocell to control room light levels. Switches (Fig. 2) set two speeds and automatic operation types (similar to VT). Switch 2 ON allows shut-off when the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3) is on or when the photocell detects light. The fan runs in timed mode when light or the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3) is off. Switch 2 OFF means the fan operates when the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3) is active or the photocell detects light. It runs in timed mode when light or the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 3) is off. Potentiometer F (Fig. 1) sets the lighting threshold. Recommended for rooms without windows or with low light. Not suitable for rooms with existing light sources (max 5 lux) or for LED lighting if its power is insufficient for electronic control.

HT - Fan with Humidity Sensor

This fan has all T system functions plus a humidity sensor. It activates automatically when the set humidity threshold is exceeded or when W/WO (Fig. 3) is switched off. It switches off after a pre-set delay from reaching the humidity level or switching off W/WO. Humidity level is set using potentiometer H (Fig. 1). The fan starts, and the LED lights continuously. Turning potentiometer H slowly towards (+) causes the LED to pulsate, indicating the desired humidity level. Adjustment should be done in a dry room.

VHT - Fan with Humidity Sensor and KOMFORT Module

This fan has all VT system functions plus a humidity sensor.

Automatic Shutter

The louvres take approximately 30 seconds to fully open after the fan is activated. They take approximately 90 seconds to close completely after the fan is switched off.

Waste Disposal Information

The symbol shown indicates that electrical and electronic equipment should not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its useful life. It must be handed over to dedicated collection points for appropriate treatment, recovery, and recycling, in accordance with national legislation and EU Directives 2002/96/EC and 2006/66/EC.

Figure 3 presents electrical wiring diagrams for different fan configurations, including 'EOL HT', 'SNL', and 'LNS' types. These diagrams detail the connections to the mains power supply (L, N) and internal control circuits (S, WO).

Special Instructions for Safe Operation

Please read this manual carefully before installing and using the fan. Installation must be carried out as described. The fan is designed for indoor installation with blades more than 2.3m above the floor. Connection must be to a 230V~, 50Hz mains supply by a qualified person. Prevent backflow of gases from open flue ducts or open fires. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified technician. Repairs should be done by an authorized service center or qualified person. Details on cleaning are provided later. For cleaning, maintenance, or installation work, always switch off the appliance completely from the mains and secure it against re-switching. Wait for rotating parts to stop, and then wait an additional 3 minutes due to potential residual voltage from internal capacitors.

This equipment may be used by children aged 8 and over, and by persons with reduced physical/mental capabilities or lack of experience, provided they are supervised or instructed on safe usage and understand the risks. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not perform cleaning or maintenance.

For fans permanently connected to the electrical installation (without a plug), ensure adequate disconnection means (at least 3mm contact gap on all poles) are present in the fixed installation, as per regulations for Category III overvoltage conditions.

  • Unauthorized alterations or modifications are not permitted.
  • Before installation, check the load-bearing capacity of mounting structures. Insecure fixing can damage the unit or cause injury.
  • The appliance can become dangerous if misused or installed by untrained personnel.
  • Ensure the power supply cable is not accessible for fixed electrical installations if it is not removable.
  • The manufacturer is not responsible for damage resulting from installation or operation contrary to this manual.
