Product Overview
The Xiaomi Router AX3000T features:
- Indicator: Provides status information.
- NFC: Allows Android phones to quickly connect to the router's Wi-Fi. Enable NFC on your Android phone and keep it unlocked with the screen on to use this function.
- Reset button: Restores the router to its factory settings.
- Power port: Connects the power adapter to the router.
- 1G network port: Self-adaptive ports with a maximum speed of 1 Gbps each, serving as either a WAN or LAN port.
- Mesh: For Mesh networking with routers that support the Xiaomi Mesh function.
Indicator Status
Indicator Status | Description |
Off | The router is off or unplugged. |
Orange | The system is starting up or a network connection error occurred. |
Blinking orange | The router is connecting to the Mesh main router or the system is updating. |
Breathing orange | The router is started and the system is ready for configuration. |
Blue | The router is working properly. |
Breathing blue | A configurable satellite router is discovered. The indicator will automatically turn blue if there is no operation for network configuration within two minutes. |
Blinking blue | The satellite router is connecting to the main router. |
Network Configuration
Step 1: Connecting the Network Cable
Turn on the router. Plug one end of the network cable into any of the router's ports, and the other end into the Internet wall socket or the LAN port of an optical modem or ADSL modem. (Note: Optical modem or ADSL modem is provided by the broadband operator.)

Step 2: Configuring the Network
- Connect your phone or computer to the Wi-Fi (passwordless authentication). See the nameplate on the bottom of the router for the Wi-Fi name. The page will automatically redirect to the network setup page. If not, open your default browser and enter
miwifi.com
. - Enter the account and password provided by your broadband operator and tap "Next". (This step may be skipped depending on your network connection method.)
- Set a new Wi-Fi name and password. You can check the box to use the Wi-Fi password as the management password; otherwise, a new page for setting the management password will follow.

Note: If a new Wi-Fi name or password is set, the Wi-Fi module will restart. The Wi-Fi may not be discoverable for a short period; please search for it again later.
Connecting with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App
This product works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Control your device via the app.
Scan the QR code to download and install the app. If the app is already installed, you will be directed to the connection setup page. Alternatively, search for "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in your app store.

Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" on the upper right, and follow the instructions to add your device.
* The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app in Europe (except for Russia). The name displayed on your device should be taken as the default.
Note: App versions may be updated; follow the instructions based on the current app version.
Xiaomi Mesh Networking
To achieve wider network coverage in larger homes, purchase routers that support the Xiaomi Mesh function*. Follow the steps below to configure the Mesh network.

The following methods use the Xiaomi Router AX3000T as the main router.
Method 1: Networking via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app
- Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.
- Go to the "Mesh network devices" page of the main router.
- Tap "+" on the upper right corner of the page.
- Follow the instructions to complete networking.
Method 2: Networking via the mesh button
- Ensure the main router is connected to the network. Place the satellite router near the main router and turn it on.
- Note: Keep the satellite router at least one meter away from the main router to avoid interference.
- After the satellite router starts, the main router will automatically discover it, and its indicator will start breathing blue.
- Note: If the satellite router is already configured, press its reset button for 5 seconds to restore it to factory settings first.
- Press the mesh button on the main router; its indicator will start blinking blue. The router is now waiting for mesh networking.
- When the indicator/Internet indicator turns white or blue, Mesh networking is completed.
- Place the satellite router in the desired location for Wi-Fi coverage and turn it on.
Method 3: Networking via network cable
- Ensure the main router is connected to the network. Place the satellite router in the location where Wi-Fi coverage is needed and turn it on.
- Connect the WAN port of the satellite router to the LAN port of the main router via a network cable. The main router's indicator will start blinking blue, indicating it is waiting for Mesh networking. (Note: If there is no WAN or LAN port, use any port of the router.)
- When the indicator/Internet indicator turns white or blue, Mesh networking is completed.

Q&A
- Why can't I access the Internet after configuring the network?
- Check if you can find the router's Wi-Fi on your phone. If not, ensure the router is turned on and started.
- Use your phone to find and connect to the router.

- How do I restore the router to its factory settings?
- Ensure the router has been started.
- Press and hold the reset button on the router for 5 seconds or more. Note: Release the reset button when the router's indicator turns orange.
- The router resets successfully after restarting. Note: The router restores to factory settings and requires reconfiguration.
- What should I do if I forget the router's management password?
If you haven't changed the management password, it's the same as the Wi-Fi password. Try logging in with that. If the problem persists, it is recommended to restore the router to factory settings and reconfigure the network.

Warning:
