This document provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective use of your Toshiba electric oven.

Safety Precautions
General Safety Warnings:
- This product is intended for household use only. Do not use the oven for heating or defrosting other items.
- Children should not operate this appliance. Keep the oven out of reach of children.
- Do not place any objects on top of the oven during operation to prevent fire hazards.
- Do not place flammable materials such as paper or plastic inside the oven, or store such items nearby.
- Never heat sealed containers in the oven, as they may explode.
- Do not pull the power cord to unplug the oven. Always grasp the plug. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or oven in water or any other liquid.
- Always unplug the oven when not in use or before cleaning.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Ensure the oven is used with a dedicated power supply to prevent circuit overload.
- Use only manufacturer-recommended accessories to avoid fire or injury.
- When heating food, ensure there is adequate space within the container to prevent boiling over. Exercise caution with glass or metal containers to prevent burns.
- Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or moving it.
- Regularly clean the oven to prevent grease buildup, which can ignite.
- If the power cord or product is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified personnel to prevent electrical hazards. Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the power cord yourself.
Precautions for Minor Injury or Property Damage:
- Hot Surfaces: The exterior surfaces of the oven can become very hot during and after operation. Do not touch these surfaces. The heating elements inside the oven also become very hot.
- Accessible Parts: Accessible parts may become hot during use. Keep children away from the oven. Some surface temperatures may become very high during operation. Surfaces marked with "high temperature surface" will become hot during use. The exterior surface temperature may remain hot for a short period after operation. Do not touch or move the oven immediately after use.
Product Placement Precautions:
- Place the oven on an insulated surface with at least 10-15 cm of clearance around it.
- Use the oven in a dry environment and do not operate it outdoors.
- To prevent soot marks on furniture or fire hazards from heat, keep the product away from walls and cabinets.
- Do not place the oven near flammable materials or heat sources. Keep the oven away from curtains or similar objects to prevent fire.
Diagram for Placement:
Top: Minimum 20 cm clearance.
Sides: Minimum 10 cm clearance.
Back: Minimum 10 cm clearance. The oven has a protective device at the back to prevent it from touching the wall and to maintain adequate distance.
Front: Open space.
Note: Hot surfaces include the top, back, glass door, etc.
First-Time Use Instructions:
Preheating the Oven: Preheat the oven for 15 minutes before the first use to remove any anti-corrosive coating from the heating elements and interior cavity.
- Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth while it is unplugged (do not wipe the heating elements).
- Place the baking tray and wire rack inside the oven and plug it in.
- Use the upper and lower heating element function, set the temperature to the maximum, and preheat for 15 minutes.
Note: It is normal for a slight odor or smoke to appear during the initial preheating.
After Preheating: Unplug the oven and open the door fully to allow it to cool down. Once cooled, remove the baking tray and wire rack for normal use.
Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview:
- Upper Heating Temperature Dial: Adjusts the temperature for the upper heating elements. Do not set below 70°C. Range: 70-230°C.
- Function Selection Dial: Selects the cooking function: Lower Heat, Upper Heat, Upper & Lower Heat, Upper & Lower Heat with Fan, Rotisserie with Fan, Fermentation.
- Lower Heating Temperature Dial: Adjusts the temperature for the lower heating elements. Do not set below 70°C. Range: 70-230°C.
- Operation Indicator Light: Illuminates when the oven is operating and turns off when the set time has elapsed.
- Timer Dial: Sets the cooking time. For times less than 10 minutes, turn the dial past 10 minutes and then back to the desired time.
Cooking Steps:
- Step 1: Plug In: Connect the oven to a 230-240V AC power outlet. Ensure at least 15 cm clearance from walls and furniture.
- Step 2: Preheat (Optional): Select the appropriate temperature and time for preheating based on your recipe. Preheating enhances food flavor.
- Step 3: Add Ingredients: Place food on the baking tray or wire rack, and select the appropriate grilling position based on food height.
- Step 4: Select Function: Choose the desired cooking function (Lower Heat, Upper Heat, Upper & Lower Heat, Upper & Lower Heat with Fan, Rotisserie with Fan, Convection Bake).
- Step 5: Set Temperature: Adjust the temperature according to the food type and personal preference.
- Step 6: Set Timer: Set the cooking time according to the food type and personal preference. The oven will start operating.
- Step 7: Cooking Complete: Use the baking tray handle or oven mitts to carefully remove the baking tray, wire rack, and food from the oven. Be cautious to avoid burns.
Note: The heating elements will turn red and black during operation, which is normal. The oven cavity is coated with enamel, so slight noises during operation are also normal.
If using the "Continuous Operation (Long Pass)" mode, the oven will remain on until manually turned off. Ensure the timer is set to "OFF" to prevent the oven from overheating.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning Precautions:
- Do not use sharp cleaning tools, abrasive brushes, or harsh cleaning agents to avoid damaging the baking tray and wire rack.
- Never immerse the oven in water or any other liquid, as this can damage the appliance.
- Do not clean the heating elements. If the metal heating elements will not be used for an extended period, wipe them with a small amount of cooking oil.
Cleaning Steps:
- Before cleaning, unplug the oven and wait for it to cool down completely.
- Clean all accessories, including the wire rack and baking tray, with mild detergent. Wipe the interior surfaces of the oven with a soft, damp cloth.

Maintenance Terms
Warranty Policy:
- Toshiba electric ovens adhere to the "three guarantees" warranty policy.
- Under normal usage, the product warranty is valid according to the "new three guarantees" policy, with a 1-year warranty for the entire unit for household use. For non-household use (e.g., business, commercial, organizational use), the warranty is 6 months for the entire unit. This product is covered by carry-in service. Other terms and conditions are subject to the "new three guarantees" policy.
- The purchase invoice and warranty certificate must be presented during repair. The warranty period starts from the invoice date. If the invoice is lost, the warranty period will be calculated from the manufacturing date.
- Repaired or replaced parts during the warranty period belong to the company. Parts repaired or replaced outside the warranty period belong to the user.
Exclusions from Warranty:
- Accessories (baking tray, wire rack, rotisserie fork, rotisserie spit, crumb tray, tray handle, mounting bracket, etc.) and consumables.
- Damage caused by improper handling, use, maintenance, or storage by the user.
- Damage caused by voltage below 187V or above 240V.
- Damage resulting from failure to follow the operating, repair, or maintenance instructions in the user manual.
- Unauthorized disassembly or repair by non-expert personnel.
- Damage caused by natural disasters (e.g., lightning, fire, earthquake, flood, etc.).
- Expiration of the product warranty period.
- Discrepancy between the model or serial number on the invoice/warranty certificate and the product.
For the above exclusions, the company will provide maintenance services at a charge, covering labor and spare parts costs within approved limits.
Additional services or gifts provided by dealers or retailers are the responsibility of those entities.
After-Sales Service:
For product malfunctions not caused by human error within the warranty period from the date of purchase, the company will provide free repair services. If the product is damaged due to improper use, outside the warranty period, or due to incorrect maintenance, repair services will be charged. Please do not remove the barcode on the product, as it allows maintenance technicians to verify product information. For other inquiries, please refer to the maintenance terms.
