Intel Socket Installation
Follow these steps for installing the ML360 cooler on Intel CPU sockets:
Step 1: Prepare Motherboard
Begin by installing the Intel-specific mounting bracket (labeled 'A' in the diagrams) onto your motherboard. Secure this bracket using the provided screws.
Step 2: Apply Thermal Paste and Mount Cooler
Apply a small, pea-sized amount of the included thermal paste to the center of the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS). Carefully position the CPU cooler's heatsink assembly directly over the CPU, aligning it with the installed mounting bracket.
Step 3: Secure the Cooler
Fasten the cooler in place using the designated retention hardware. This typically involves screws (such as those labeled 'B', 'C', and 'J' in the diagrams) that attach the cooler to the mounting bracket, ensuring firm and even contact with the CPU.
AMD Socket Installation
