Troubleshooting
LEDs Flashing
Indicates excessive current from the USB memory port. Check the USB drive and power cycle the unit.
Hammer Noise
The FP-30's hammer mechanism may produce audible noise during play, similar to an acoustic piano. This is normal. Use vibration-dampening measures if necessary.
Auto Power Off
The unit powers off after 30 minutes of inactivity. Disable this feature in the FUNCTION settings if desired.
Power Not Turning On
Check AC adapter connections and ensure the power outlet is functional.
Pedals Not Working
Ensure pedals are securely connected to the correct jacks.
No Sound / Sound Issues
Check volume levels, headphone connections, and transpose settings. High-frequency sounds or resonance issues may occur due to the piano's design or volume levels.
Pitch Incorrect
Verify Master Tune settings. The FP-30 uses stretched tuning, which is characteristic of acoustic pianos.
Sound Repeating/Layering
Check if the Dual Play or Split Play functions are enabled.
Sound Changes on Specific Keys
This is a characteristic simulation of acoustic pianos, where certain high-register notes have a different sustain and timbre.
Built-in Song List
A list of 30 built-in songs with composer information and corresponding keys is provided.
Rhythm Patterns
A list of 8 rhythm patterns (8Beat, 16Beat, Shuffle, Disco, Swing, Jazz Waltz, Latin, 6/8 March) with corresponding keys is provided.
