· Power supply and grounding

The dryer employs alternative current with the rated voltage and frequency. When the

voltage fluctuates between 6% of rated voltage, the dryer can work normally. A standard 13A socket outlet should be situated beside the dryer for convenience and safety. The method of connection to the socket is as

the diagram shown. If this is not possible then you will have to make improvements as soon as possible according to the rules and suggestions mentioned above.
 Warning!

Live-

Grounding

The socket and the grounding wire must be installed by an electrician to prevent incorrect installation or use of the socket and to guarantee the safety of use of electricity. No connection of the grounding wire and the neutral wire is likely to

cause the danger of electric shock from the appliance.

· Precautions

Do not install or store where it will be exposed to temperatures below freezing or exposed to water or weather. which could cause permanent damage and invalidate the warranty
'1 \

Keep the area around the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding areas free from the accumulation of lint dust and dirt. An obstructed exhaust will reduce the airflow.

9

Thoroughly spin the laundry in a washing machine or spin dryer. High spin speed will reduce the drying time and save energy.

Make sure combustible fumes will not be close to the dryer when it is working. If any gas leaks, do not touch the plug or the start/pause bu

Flex Tube Fixing
I
Connect the end of the vent hose with the locating lugs (see below image) into the rear of the dryer and twist clockwise to lock in to place.

0 IMPORTANT: This appliance is not designed to be
used in out buildings, garages or any place where the ambient temperature will drop below 5°C. Due to its use of sensors it will run, but not heat effectively, therefore clothes would not dry effectively.
Do not install the dryer in the open air (outside) or in a place easily damaged by rain/water.
· Do not place the back of dryer near curtains.
Do not place the dryer near gas appliances, especially when they are in use.
Level Adjustment
Once in its permanent operating position, check that the dryer is level with the aid of a spirit level. If it is not adjust the feet.
A WARNING: If the dryer can't be placed horizontally (the lean angle is no more than 2°) this may cause the appliance to be unbalanced and stop working.

· -------· I
Make sure that the flex tube is firmly positioned through the wall before pushing back the dryer and makes sure that the hose is not kinked or damaged in any way as this will have an effect on the safety and efficiency of the dryer. The vent hose must have an unrestricted flow of air as shown in the previous examples.

8

INSTALLATION
When not venting through a wall behind the the dryer then the supplied elbow joint must be fitted. The elbow joint simply pushes into place over the rear vent (see below images) and allows free airflow through the pipe to the left or right hand side of the dryer to suit which is more convenient for your use.

 Before Drying
1.Before drying, thoroughly spin the laundry in a washing machine. High spin speed can reduce the drying time and save energy.
2.For uniform drying results, sort the laundry according to fabric type and drying appropriate drying programme.
3.Before drying, please close zips, hooks and eyelets, button up, tie fabric belts, etc. 4.Do not over dry the clothes, over drying will tend to cause more creases in the fabric. 5.Do not dry articles containing rubber or similar elastic materials. 6.Do not dry any clothes after a dry-clean process. 7.Clean the lint filter after each use to avoid the extension of drying time and increased
energy consumption.

MAINTENANCES
 Cleaning And Care Filter clean
· Clean the lint filter after each use. · Remove the filter by pulling straight up. · Gently open the filter taking care not to break it. · Remove the lint by hand or with a damp cloth. · Once cleaned and thoroughly dry close the filter
and refit in to the dryer.
Cleaning cabinet and inner drum
· Use a soft damp cloth when cleaning the cabinet and inner drum.
· Do not rinse any surfaces with water. · Do not use any scouring pads or harsh cleaning products.. · Do not use any chemicals or alcohol wipes when cleaning
the dryer · Make sure to open the front door for aeration after cleaning
the inner drum.
Safety reset
1. This dryer has a safety cut out switch which is activated by temperature. 2. The safety reset button is on the back of the dryer. If your dryer is not heating this
button must be reset before the dryer can heat again. You may need to wait 10 minutes for the dryer to cool down before being able to reset the button. 3. The most common reason for the dryer to overheat is a blocked filter. 4. Clean the lint filter after each load to prevent overheating of the dryer
The cut out switch may operate for the following reasons: 1. Lint filter is blocked. 2. Exhaust outlets blocked at the back of the dryer. 3. Poor ventilation in the room it is situated, or in the drum due to overloading. 4. Lightweight garment eg. handkerchief, sucked over the filter.

 Troubleshooting

Issue Will not start/dry

Cause · Power cut. · The power plug is not plugged in
correctly · Overloading.

Appliance is hot to touch

· The safety cut out has tripped. · The lint filter is dirty/clogged. · The exhaust duct is dirty/trapped
or kinked.

Solution
· Wait for the power to return. · Check the socket/plug is not damaged and the plug is
correctly fitted. · The clothes in the dryer after being spun must not
exceed 7kg. · Reset the cut out as shown in the above picture.. · Make sure to clean the lint filter after every use. · Clean out the rear vent/vent hose regularly.

Clothes are too dry/hot to touch Clothes shrinking Hairball on clothes

· The drum is overloaded · Clothes removed before the
programme has finished. · Use of the incorrect programme. · Temperature is too high. · Too dry.
· It is normal for synthetic fibre and permanent press fibre to cause hairballs. This is due to the fabrics rubbing during the programme.

· Make sure the drum is not overloaded and the clothes have room to move around freely.
· Do not remove clothes before the programme has finished as they will not have completed a cool down cycle.
· Observe the maintenance label on clothes
· Use the correct programme for the fabric being dried.
· Observe the maintenance label on clothes. If the fabric is liable to shrink, use a delicate programme and remove the clothes while slightly damp and hang up until fully dry. Make sure to leave the door open to allow the dryer to cool down after removing the items.
· Use fabric softener sheets to lubricate fibres. Dry clothes inside out to help reduce the bobbling effect.

The "standard cotton programme" used at full and partial loads is the standard drying programme to which the information in the label and fiche relates. This programme is suitable

for drying normal wet cotton laundry and that it is the most efficient programme in terms of
