Safety Instructions

Intended use

This device is intended for use as an effects pedal for electric guitars. Any other use or use under different operating conditions is considered improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.

Danger for children

⚠️ Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc., are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts from the product. They could swallow the pieces and choke!

Where to use the product

  • Never use the product in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity.
  • Never use the product in extremely dusty or dirty areas.
  • Never use the product at locations where the unit can become wet.

General handling

  • To prevent damage, never use force when handling the product.
  • Never immerse the product in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners, or flammable cleaning agents.

  • Dual effects pedal for electric guitars.
  • The effect modules A and B can be used simultaneously or individually and in any order.
  • Versatile metal distortion with wide gain range, scoop-tone mids, and 2-band EQ control (effect module A).
  • Analogue noise gate with simple and intuitive settings (effect module B).
  • True Bypass when the device is powered off.
  • Buffer Bypass when the device is connected to power supply.
  • 3-way switch for effects order.
  • Foot switches with LED indicators.
  • Power supply via 9 V power adapter (not included, suitable optional power adapter: item no. 409939, no battery operation).

Operating Elements

The front panel features several controls. Across the top are rotary knobs labeled '9V' (power input), 'LOW', 'LEVEL', 'HIGH', and 'RAGE'. In the middle are input and output jacks, labeled 'INPUT' and 'OUTPUT', flanked by two footswitches for 'Distortion' and 'Noisegate'. Below these are more controls: a 'THRESHOLD' rotary knob, a mode selector switch labeled 'A-B', 'A or B', 'B-A', and a 'Soft/Hard' switch. A lightning bolt symbol is present near the mode selector switch.

2 LOW Rotary control for adjusting the bass frequencies of the Distortion effect.
3 LEVEL Rotary control for adjusting the volume level of the Distortion effect.
4 HIGH Rotary control for adjusting the high frequencies of the Distortion effect.
5 RAGE Rotary control for adjusting the mid frequencies of the Distortion effect.
6 INPUT 1/4" jack socket for connecting instruments.
7 Distortion Foot switch for switching on/off the Distortion effect.
8 Noisegate Foot switch for switching on/off the Noise Gate.
9 OUTPUT 1/4" jack socket for connecting an amplifier.
10 THRESHOLD Rotary control for adjusting the threshold of the Noise Gate.
11 Mode Switch Selects the operation mode:
  • A-B: Distortion and Noise Gate enabled simultaneously. Signal path: Distortion -> Noise Gate.
  • A or B: Either Distortion or Noise Gate enabled.
  • B-A: Distortion and Noise Gate enabled simultaneously. Signal path: Noise Gate -> Distortion.
12 Soft/Hard Toggles the sound mode of the Noise Gate:
  • Soft: Soft sound when decaying the guitar signal.
  • Hard: Hard sound when decaying the guitar signal.

Environmental and Disposal Information

For transport and protective packaging, environmentally friendly materials have been chosen that can be supplied to normal recycling. Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc., are properly disposed of. Do not just dispose of these materials with your normal household waste, but make sure that they are collected for recycling. Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging.

Dispose of this product through an approved waste disposal firm or through your local waste facility. Comply with the rules and regulations that apply in your country.
