Our plans protect your device from:
- Defects beyond the manufacturer's warranty
- Physical damage (e.g., cracked screen)
- Electronic damage (e.g., power surge)
- Liquid damage
- Normal wear and tear
When to Enroll
The best time to enroll is at activation or upgrade. You can also enroll within 30 days of activation or upgrade by visiting any Bell or Virgin Plus store for a visual inspection. Devices that are already damaged or defective are not eligible for coverage.
Plan Details
Monthly Fee: $10/mo.
Replacement Fee:
- From $49 to $449 per replacement.
- A maximum of 2 replacements are permitted per 12 months.
- The maximum value of a replacement device is $3,000 per claim.
Replacement devices may be new, refurbished, or remanufactured, and will be of similar kind and quality. Colors, features, and accessory compatibility are not guaranteed.
How it Works
Terms and conditions will be provided via email or letter after enrollment. Coverage begins on the enrollment date and continues month-to-month until terminated.
To submit a replacement request, visit asur.me/bellclaims or asur.me/virginplusclaims, or call 1-866-213-2143 within 30 days. The replacement fee will be added to your next bill.
Ship your damaged device back using the provided materials and instructions upon receiving your replacement.
Plans can be cancelled anytime by calling 1-800-667-0123. Bell/Virgin Plus may cancel coverage for reasons such as ineligible devices, non-payment, exceeding claim limits, or defaulting on other obligations.
Customers in New Brunswick have a 20-day right to cancel for a full refund.

- Coverage is for the device with the associated IMEI.
- Warranty cannot be transferred to another device.
- Smart/Phone Care and SmartCare plans do not cover turbo hubs, prepaid phones, SIM cards, or accessories (including batteries and chargers).
- For activation or upgrade enrollment, a call or text message must be completed on the covered device. For data devices, a data transmission of at least 1 KB is required.
- Available in AB, NB, NFL, NS, NU, NWT, ON, PEI and YT. Fees and services are subject to change. Taxes are extra.
