Overview

The MAXWEST ASTRO 4R is a smartphone designed for everyday use. Below is a description of its physical components and key features.

Device Layout:

• Front: Features the touchscreen display.
• Back: Houses the primary camera lens.
• Sides: Contain the physical buttons for power and volume control.

Key Components:

• Touch Screen: The primary interface for interacting with the device.

• Power Key: Located on the side, used to turn the device on/off or wake/sleep the screen.

SIM Card Installation

To use your phone, you need to install a SIM card and the battery.

4. Insert the battery into its compartment, aligning the contacts.

Phone Calls and Texting

Make calls and send messages easily with the built-in phone and messaging applications.

Making Calls:

1. Open the Phone app.
2. Dial a number using the keypad or select a contact from your address book.
3. Tap the call button [?] to initiate the call.

Sending Text Messages (SMS):

1. Open the Messaging app.
2. Tap the 'New Message' icon [✉️].
3. Enter the recipient's number or select a contact.
4. Type your message in the text field.
5. Tap the send button [➡️] to send the message.

WLAN (Wi-Fi)

Connect to Wi-Fi networks to access the internet without using mobile data.

Steps:

1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
2. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
3. The phone will scan for available networks.
4. Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
5. If the network is secured, enter the password and tap 'Connect'.

Camera
