Welcome to the Uniplay Smart Gamepad U6. This device is a versatile 6-in-1 smart gamepad designed for multiple platforms and functions.
Key Features and Functions
- Gamepad Function: Supports Android game mode, PC (keyboard/mouse) game mode, and PC360 game mode.
- Wireless Mouse Function: Features a touchpad for cursor control. Single finger tap for left-click, two-finger tap for right-click, and two-finger swipe for scrolling.
- Wireless Microphone Function: When the U6 is powered on, the microphone is active and can transmit sound.
- Wireless Headphone Function: Allows audio output from computers, Android boxes, or Smart TVs to be heard through connected headphones.
- Wireless Remote Control: Utilizes standard Android function key codes for controlling Android boxes and Smart TVs.
- Wireless Keyboard Function: Includes a QWERTY keyboard for text, letter, and symbol input.
Note: Functions 2-6 are primarily available in Android game mode and PC (keyboard/mouse) game mode. The U6 operates as a pure game handle in PC360 game mode.

Key Layout - Front
The front of the gamepad features:
- Directional Pad (D-pad): Numbered 1 (Up ⬆️), 2 (Right ➡️), 3 (Left ⬅️), 4 (Down ⬇️).
- Left Joystick: Numbered 5, controls Up, Down, Left, Right.
- Face Buttons: Y (9), X (10), B (11), A (12).
- Start Button: Numbered 7.
- Back/Select Button: Numbered 14.
- Touchpad Area: Numbered 8.
- Right Joystick: Numbered 13, controls Up, Down, Left, Right.

LED Indicator Usage Instructions
- No. 25 (Android LED): Lights up for Android mode. Supports one-way voice, touchpad, wireless remote, and keyboard functions. Flashing indicates low voltage.
- No. 26 (PC LED): Lights up for PC mode. Supports one-way voice, touchpad, wireless remote, and keyboard functions.
- No. 27 (PC360 LED): Lights up for PC360 gaming mode only. Does not support other functions.
- No. 28 (Voice LED): Lights up with Android LED or PC LED, indicating Android/PC mode and activated two-way voice function. Touchpad function is inactive in this mode.
- No. 29 (Charge LED): Lights up when charging. Turns off when fully charged.
Getting Started and Connectivity
Connecting the Device
- Remove the USB dongle from the battery compartment and insert it into your device. (Note: Some devices like Android PAD/Phone may require OTG lines). The USB dongle is plug-and-play, requiring no driver installation.
- Power on the U6. The Android LED will light up, indicating it is ready to work.

Re-pairing Methods
The gamepad is paired one-on-one with its USB receiver from the factory. If pairing is lost or needs re-establishment:
- Unplug the USB receiver from the device.
- Press any key on the QWERTY keyboard; the four blue LEDs will flash.
- Press the pairing key (?); the four blue LEDs will blink rapidly, indicating the U6 is entering pairing mode.
- Plug the USB receiver back into the device. After a few seconds, the four blue LEDs will flash rapidly and then change to a solid Android light, indicating successful pairing.
Note: The pairing window is 10 seconds. If pairing fails, the four blue LEDs will flash for 20 seconds and turn off. The recommended pairing distance is within 30cm.
Game Mode Switching
The Gamepad U6 supports three modes: Android, PC (keyboard/mouse), and PC360. It defaults to Android mode.
- Press and hold the BACK/SEL key for approximately 3 seconds. The current mode indicator (e.g., Android LED) will change from flashing to solid, signifying entry into mode switching state.
- Each subsequent press of the BACK/SEL button cycles through the modes, with the corresponding mode LED lighting up.
- After selecting the desired mode, wait for 3 seconds. The four blue LEDs will flash until the LED for the current game mode lights up, confirming the switch.
Connecting to Different Devices
- Android Device: Connect directly. (Note: Some Android devices may require an OTG line. The U6 uses standard HID codes.)
- PC Device: Connect directly. Game function keys may require in-game setup. The touchpad, ENTER, Esc, and other keys can be used for settings.
- PC360 Device: Connect directly. This mode emulates Microsoft's official Xbox 360 gamepad, suitable for most Xbox 360 games on PC.
Note on Android Mode: Custom systems, CPU architectures, and protocols may affect compatibility. Some Android devices might not support specific appearance settings or gamepad controls.
Detailed Functions
Wireless Mouse Function
The mouse function is active in Android or PC game mode (one-way voice mode).
- Cursor Position: Swipe a finger across the touchpad to move the cursor precisely.
- Wheel Function: Slide two fingers up or down on the touchpad to scroll.
- Mouse Left Button: Tap the touchpad once or press the left mouse button on the keyboard.
- Mouse Right Button: Tap the touchpad with two fingers or press the right mouse button on the keyboard.
Microphone/Headphone Function
The Smart Gamepad U6 supports two-way voice communication (microphone and headphone) in both Android and PC modes. The microphone is active by default.
To activate two-way voice:
- Press the key combination Fn + ♪. The 4 LED indicators will flash until the mode LED (Android or PC) and the two-way voice indicator light up.
- Connect your headphone and play audio on your device. You can speak through the microphone, and your voice will be transmitted.
To deactivate two-way voice, press Fn + ♪ again. The microphone remains active.
Note: For first-time use, the USB receiver's voice function may require a brief initialization period. During this, pressing Fn + ♪ will cause the 4 LEDs to flash until the mode LED and two-way voice indicator are solid, indicating successful connection.
QWERTY Keyboard Description
The gamepad features a QWERTY keyboard for text input, letters, numbers, and multimedia shortcuts.
- Pressing a grey-colored key outputs its corresponding character.
- When the Fn key is active (blue character keys), pressing a key outputs its blue character function. For example, to type "+", press Fn and the '+' key simultaneously.
- Holding down a key for more than 1 second can also output its character, but it will not be continuous.
Note on Special Keys:
- Long-pressing alphabet and character keys (in the arc area) only outputs characters in blue. This excludes keys like Esc, Tab, Caps Lock, Shift, Fn, Alt, Ctrl, Enter, and Backspace.
- Pressing Fn + Backspace is equivalent to pressing the Delete key. Holding Fn + Backspace provides continuous Delete functionality.

Power and Battery Information
Low Voltage Detection
The gamepad features low battery detection. When the battery voltage drops below 3.5V, the Android indicator (No. 25) will flash, signaling the need to recharge.
Battery Charging
When the Android indicator (No. 25) flashes, it indicates the battery is low and needs charging. The charging indicator (No. 29) lights up red while charging and turns off when charging is complete.
Note:
- This gamepad does not include a power adapter. Use a standard phone power adapter or a computer's USB port to charge.
- The included Micro USB cable is for charging only and does not support data transmission.
