WARNING: Do not put the monitor in rainy or foggy places to prevent from fire or electric shock. To prevent scratches or damages to the LCD screen, do not knock, apply or rub the surface with sharp or hard objects or stiff cloths as well as try not to touch the LCD screen with your hands. Any modifications to this product that have not been clearly and explicitly approved in advance by the manufacturer responsible for compliance with these regulations are forbidden. ATTENTION: Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss. 3 EN Important safety instructions 1. Please read all the instructions carefully before using this product. 2. The instructions should be retained after reading for future reference. 3. Please immediately pull out the AC power plug from an adapter if there is an abnormal sound or smell or the monitor has no picture, and contact after sales support. 4. The monitor should be kept free from rain, damp and dust to prevent electrical shock and short circuits. Do not cover the ventilation openings with table clothes, curtains, newspapers etc. 5. The monitor should be kept away from heating objects or direct sunlight. This product requires good ventilation. Allow 10 cm between the monitor and other appliances or built-in cabinet walls. 6. You may clean the display panel with a soft clean cloth after pulling out the power plug. Do not repeatedly wipe the panel, nor scrape, tap or strike the panel with hard objects, etc. 7. Do not wipe the monitor with any petrol chemical or alcohol-based solvents, as it will lead to product damage to the panel and cabinet. 8. Do not place the monitor on an unstable surface. 9. Do not place the power cord or other cables across a walkway in case it is trampled on, especially at the points of connection to the plug, sockets and the power cord to the appliance. 10. Unplug the appliance during a lightning storm or when it is not used for a long period of time. 11. Unplug this product when the device, power cord or plug are damaged or if the device has been exposed to liquid or moisture, has been mechanically damaged and does not work properly and contact an authorized service centre immediately. 12. Keep this appliance away from liquids, splashes of water and do not place objects filled with liquids on it. 13. Do not disassemble the back cover as it contains high voltages inside and will cause electric shock. There is no spare parts inside. Internal adjustments and checks should only be conducted by qualified professionals. 14. Do not place naked flame sources, such as lit candles on or near the monitor. Please pull out the power plug and contact after sales support if there are abnormal objects or water in the monitor. 4 EN Operating Instructions Components and auxiliary equipment Before assembling and installing, check for following items to be included in this display package. Monitor x 1 Screws x 3 Stand stem x 1 Base x 1 Power adapter x 1 7 m m Mount hexagon irons x 4 DP signal cable x 1 User manual x 1 Microfiche and power requirements label Redundant screws can be used as spare screws. 5 EN Installation 1. Open the package and take out the product with the foam still attached. Gently place it on a desktop or table. 2. Remove the polyfoam and the inner package bag, place on a desktop or table, keep the lower foam underneath the monitor. 3. See picture, fasten the stand stem and base with a screw. 4. Press the button to remove the stand plate, Fix the stand plate into the stand stem with the supplied screws. 5. Fix the whole assembled stand into the monitor, and check carefully to make sure it is fastened. 6. Hold onto the stand stem and stand the monitor up on a flat, level desktop or table. Due to the heavy weight and dimensions of the LCD screens and their fragile nature, we recommend that they are unpacked and assembled by 2 people. The stand can be removed from the rear of the monitor by pressing the quick release button on the rear of the monitor. 6 EN Installation 1. Open the package and take out the product with foam still attached Gently place it on a desktop or table. Remove the parts and the foam covering the monitor. If the monitor is already attached to the stand, remove the stand. 2. Press the button to remove the adapter on back of monitor, then tighten the included four screws onto the mounting holes on back of monitor. 3. Install the monitor on the wall, mount, or fixture as desire. Mount hexagon irons 4. During padlocking of the monitor, do not pinch the screen with the hands to avoid damaging the screen. Install the mount to the mount stud by referring to the user manual of the mount (purchased separately). Mount (Not included) Tips: The mounting hole distance of the mount for the product is 75x75mm. Do not place or hang any object on the mount, and the using height of the mount should be less than 2 meters. Notes: To prevent the monitor on the mount from failing, please install it firmly and protect it fully. Do not place or hang any object on the mount, and the using height of the mount should be less than 2 meters. 7 EN Functions Description of connection sockets HDMI interface Use the HDMI cable to connect the HDMI IN interface of the product to the HDMI OUT interface of a PC. Use the HDMI-DVI cable to connect the HDMI IN interface of the product to the DVI OUT interface of a PC. (In general, PCs do not transfer video signals to the monitor through the DVI OUT interface, and it is necessary to connect a loudspeaker box additionally to play sounds of PCs.) The screen display (OSD) menu can be used to adjust settings of the monitor and is shown on the screen after the monitor is powered on and the (Home) button is pressed. 1. Press one of the buttons ( ) to activate the browser screen. 10 EN 2. Press ( ) to enter the OSD screen. 3. Press or to scrollthrough the functions. · Select the desired function, and press to enter the sub-menu. · Press or to scroll through sub-menus, and press key to select and confirm the desired function. · Pres or to select one option, and press to confirm settings and exit from the current menu. 4. Check that the power of the relevant peripherals is turned on. Check that the Input option tnat has been selected matches with the input signal. Check that all the video settings are adjusted appropriately, such as brightness, contrast, colour etc. Check that the input signal line is properly fixed. We ask you to keep the warranty card during the whole warranty period. When purchasing a product, ask for a complete filling in of the warranty card. 1. The Warranty Card is valid only if the following informationis correctly and clearly stated: model, serial number of the product, date of sale, warranty period, clear seals of the company-seller, signature of the buyer. 2. Service life of the product is 24 months. 3. The product is intended for domestic use only. When using the product in commercial conditions the seller/manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, the service is carried out on a paid basis. 4. Satisfaction of the customer's claim due to the fault of the manufacturer shall be made in accordance with the law of «On Protection of Consumers' Rights». 5. No warranty is given with respect to any consumer violation of the operating rules set forth in the instructions. 6.
