How to Measure

1. Chest: Remove or raise clothing. Use your fingers to find the top of your hips and the base of your rib cage. Your waist is the soft, fleshy section between these two bony parts. It will also be the narrowest part of your torso. Hold the end of the tape measure at your navel and bring it around your waist to the front. The measuring tape should be parallel to the floor and fit snugly around your torso without digging into your skin.

2. Waist: Your waist is the section between hips and the base of your rib cage. The measuring tape should be parallel to the floor and fit snugly around your torso without digging into your skin.

Please Note: Consider the thickness of your wetsuit when choosing your BCD size. Diving in cold water requires a thicker wetsuit, which can mean a larger BCD size. Allow about 2 inches (5 cm) of extra room for your waist for suits thicker than 5 mm and above.
