Condensate Removal
Emptying the Water Tank
- Before emptying the tank, turn off and unplug the appliance.
- Do not remove the water tank immediately after turning off the appliance, as water may drip.
- Do not connect a drainage hose if you are using the water tank to collect condensate. If a hose is connected, water will drain through the hose instead of the tank.
- Grasp the water tank by both sides and carefully remove it from the appliance (see illustration). Be careful not to spill the condensate.
- When emptying the tank, hold it with one hand by the handle at the top and support the bottom with the other hand.
- Place the tank back into the appliance correctly.
Condensate Drainage via Drainage Hose (Continuous Mode)
- For continuous drainage, prepare the drainage hose included in the package (1 meter length, 10 mm outer diameter).
- Turn off and unplug the appliance.
- Remove the water tank.
- Connect the end of the drainage hose to the outlet on the appliance and return the water tank to the appliance. Direct the other end of the hose to a larger container (bucket, tub, etc.) where condensate can drain freely. Ensure the drainage hose points downwards and is not blocked, obstructed, or damaged.
- Before removing the drainage hose from the appliance, prepare a container for any water that may drip from the outlet.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Always turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Do not use volatile substances (e.g., thinners, gasoline, etc.) for cleaning, as this may damage the appliance's surface. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning the Grille and Appliance Casing
- Wipe the appliance surface with a soft cloth. If dirty, use a cloth dampened with water and a neutral cleaning agent.
- Carefully clean the air outlet grille using a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush.
Filter Cleaning
- Once a month, carefully clean the carbon and ionization filters using a vacuum cleaner.
- Filter lifespan is approximately 1 year, depending on usage frequency and environment. Replacement filters are labeled DF-005 and DF-006.
- Note: Do not use the appliance without filters. This will lead to dust accumulation in the evaporator and reduced appliance performance.
Cleaning the Water Tank
- Use warm water to clean the tank. If dirty, use water with a neutral kitchen detergent and then rinse the tank with clean water. Clean the tank regularly, approximately once a week, to prevent mold and bacteria growth.
Pre-Use Checks
- Ensure the air outlet is not blocked.
- Check that the plug and socket are in good condition.
- Verify the air filter is clean.
- Ensure the drainage hose is not damaged.
Long-Term Storage
- If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, store it according to the following instructions:
- Unplug the appliance, clean it, and coil the power cord.
- Ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the drainage hose is disconnected.
- Pack the appliance to protect it from dust and other contaminants.
- Store the appliance in a dry and cool place.
Optional HEPA 13 + Active Carbon Filter DF-015 Health Kit
