How to Use
- Before use, ensure there is no residual pressure in the pressure barrel. If residual pressure exists, pull the Red Hat safety valve bleed ring on the lid to completely release the air pressure inside the barrel for safety.
- Loosen the wing nuts and open the lid.
- Close all valves. Connect the sprayer to the paint discharge port (24) and ensure the outlet valve (12) is closed. [Note: Original text was ambiguous, interpreted based on typical usage.]
- Connect the air intake connector (20) and open the air intake valve (25). [Description: Close-up view of the air intake connector and valve.]
- Adjust the inlet pressure regulator: rotate clockwise to increase working pressure, and counterclockwise to decrease pressure in the barrel. [Description: Close-up view of the air pressure regulator and a pressure gauge showing approximately 30 PSI.]
- Open the outlet valve (12) and the discharge valve (24).
- If the paint settles, turn on the air motor to stir. [Description: Close-up view of the pressure paint pot lid with the air motor assembly, indicating stirring action.]
Maintenance
- After use, cut off the air source. Open the balloon valve switch on the lid to release all air from the barrel. Loosen the butterfly bolts, open the lid, pour out residual paint, and clean all parts touched by paint with an appropriate solvent.
- Pour cleaning solvent into the bucket, close the lid to lock it, open the intake valve, and operate the sprayer until clean solvent appears.
- Safety valves must be kept clean at all times.
Air Leakage Remedy
Note: If you find air leakage during use, apply glue evenly along the leak area. Close the lid of the barrel, tighten the screws while the pressure reaches 15 PSI (hold for about 10 seconds) to allow the glue to penetrate the leakage. Close the intake valve, open the pressure relief plunger, and let it stand for 6-8 hours until the glue is completely solidified before continuing use.
Troubleshooting
| Fault | The Cause of the Failure | Exclusion Method |
|---|---|---|
| The pointer of the pressure gauge connected to the air supply does not move | 1. The air source is not normal 2. The intake valve is not open 3. Other valves are not closed |
1. Adjust the air source to normal 2. Open the intake valve 3. Close other valves |
| Paint barrel lid leakage | 1. When the barrel lid is combined with the barrel body, the butterfly nut is not tightened diagonally 2. The parts on the barrel lid are poorly sealed |
1. Follow Article 3 of the Terms of Use 2. Refer to the remedy for air leakage |
| No paint | 1. The discharge valve is not open | 1. Open the discharge valve |
| Poor paint effect | 1. The pressure is too high or too low 2. Spraying equipment problems |
1. Adjust to normal pressure 2. Repair of spraying equipment |
[Description: Diagram illustrating the correct diagonal sequence for locking the bucket lid. Numbered points (1, 2, 3, 4) are shown on the lid, with arrows indicating the order of tightening: first 1-2, then 3-4.]
