Zyxel ZyWALL/USG FLEX Series Quick Start Guide

This guide provides essential steps for the initial setup of your Zyxel ZyWALL/USG FLEX Series and ZyWALL VPN/ATP Firewall Series devices.

Getting Started

This document outlines the basic hardware connections and initial configuration required to get your Zyxel security gateway operational. For comprehensive details and support, please refer to the full User's Guide available at www.zyxel.com.

Hardware Connection

Follow the visual instructions to connect your computer to the LAN port and your internet source to the WAN port using Ethernet cables. Ensure the power adapter is connected to a power outlet and the device.

Initial Configuration

Access the device's web interface via your browser by navigating to http://192.168.1.1. Use the default credentials admin for the username and 1234 for the password to log in. The setup wizard will guide you through connecting to the internet and activating services.

Important Information

Before disconnecting power, always use the shutdown procedure via the device's interface to ensure a safe power-off. For the latest firmware, documentation, and certifications, visit the Zyxel website.
