Step 1: Set up Poles
Set up Poles (Part A5) with Stand Plates (Part L5) using screws 1# (x12) as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows four A5 poles being attached to four L5 stand plates using 1# screws.
Reference for anchoring gazebo:
- If the ground is concrete and its depth is over 3 inches, you can purchase 3/8" diameter x 3" length sleeve anchors (not included).
- Only anchor after finishing all the assembly.
The diagram shows a pole anchored to concrete with a sleeve anchor.
After assembly, Kozyard strongly recommends anchoring the gazebo to your deck or concrete as shown above. Damage resulting from wind or improper anchoring is not covered under warranty.
Step 2: Connect the Beams
Connect Beams (Part E5 and D5) into one beam using Union Bar (Part F5) with screws 1# (x40) as shown in the diagram. The diagram illustrates how two E5 beams are joined by an F5 union bar, and similarly for two D5 beams, and then how these are assembled together.
Step 3: Set up Poles and Beams
Use screws 3#L (x16) and 3# (x8) first, then use screw 2# (x16) to connect Poles and Beams together as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows poles (A5) being connected to beams (E5, D5) using 3#L and 3# screws, then reinforced with 2# screws, as the frame begins to take shape.
Tip: Place parts on carpet or rug to avoid scratches during assembly. ?
Tip: At least three people for this step. ? 3+
Step 4: Connect Solidifying Bars with Beams and Poles
Affix the frame with Corner Solidifying Bars (Parts J5, J6) using screws 1# (x32) as shown in the diagram. The diagram illustrates J5 and J6 bars connecting poles and beams at the corners, and shows diagonal measurements.
Tip: Measure (DIAGONALLY) from posts to posts to assure alignment so all materials fit as planned.
Step 5: Cover the connections
- Finish Connecting Beams using Corner Covers (Part G5) and screws 9# (x4) as shown in the diagram.
- Affix middle beams using Joint Cover (Part H5) and screws 9# (x24) as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows G5 covers being attached to the top corners and H5 covers to the middle beam connections.
Step 6: Install Hooks
After finishing Hooks (Part 4#, x96) into the tracks, then put Joint Cover (Part H1, x4) to lock them. The diagram shows hooks being inserted into tracks on the beams (E5, D5), followed by the attachment of H1 covers.
Detail: Attach 6 Hooks in each slot of the Sidewall Track on Beams (Part E5, D5).
Step 7: Set up Roof Frame
- Connect the Inside Roof Connector (Part K2, x1) with the Corner Roof Bar (Part M5, x4) using screws 1# (x20).
- Attach Corner Roof Bar (Part M5) to the main frame using screw 1#.
- Attach Finishing Bar (Part P, x4) with Finish End (Part R, x4) using screws 1# to the Corner Roof Bar (Part M5) as shown in the diagram. The diagram illustrates the assembly of the central roof structure.
Step 8: Set up Roof Bar
- Attach Roof Bar (Part N5, x4) to Roof Connector (Part K2) using screw 1# (x20) as shown in the diagram.
- Connect Roof Bar connector (Part R5, x4) to Roof Bar (Part N5) using screw 1#.
- Attach Roof Bar (Part N5) to Beams using screw 1# as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows the roof bars being attached to the central structure and beams.
Step 9: Connect Outside Roof Connector
Connect Outside Roof Connector (Part K12, x1) to Inside Roof (Part K2) using screw 1# (x1) as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows the top roof connector (K12) being attached to the central inside connector (K2).
Step 10: Snap Brackets
Snap Brackets (Part Z, Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4) to the roof panel edges as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows various roof panel parts (V1, V2, B11-B16) and how plastic brackets (Z, Z1-Z4) attach to their edges.
Tips:
- Wearing protective gloves is recommended. ?
- To prevent Z-Clips (plastic brackets) from sliding off prior to assembly, apply double-sided adhesive tape (Part H3) to the underside (bottom) edge of the roof panels where the brackets (Part Z, Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4) are supposed to attach.
- You can use super glue (not included) to attach the brackets to the roof panel if the double-sided tape doesn't work for you.
Step 11: Assemble Roof Panels
- Push the Roof Panels (Part V1, V2) to the upper roof as shown in the diagram.
- Attach Finishing Bars (Part T, x4) to the upper roof with Finish End (Part R, x4) using screws 1# (x8) as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows roof panels (V1, V2) being placed and then secured with T and R parts.
Tip: Wearing protective gloves is recommended. ?
Step 12: Connect Solidifying Bars
Attach Solidifying Bars (Part U0, x8) to the roof bar or corner roof bar using Iron Angle (Part U3, U4) and screws 1# (x24) as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows U0 bars being attached to the roof structure using U3 and U4 iron angles and 1# screws.
Attention: If the holes on the Solidifying Bar (Part U0) and the hole of the roof panel cannot be aligned, please adjust or loosen screw 1# until the screws of the roof panel are in place.
Overall roof assembly
Please place the panels on the frame and assemble them from the centerline (Part N5) to the left and right. The diagram shows the arrangement of roof panels (B11-B16) on the frame.
Tip: Wearing protective gloves is recommended. ?
Tips: To facilitate the easy fastening of roof panels (Part B13), please use double-sided adhesive tape (Part H3) to affix Part S onto Panel (Part B13) in advance. This will prevent Part S from sliding down during assembly. The diagram shows Part S with adhesive tape being applied to the back of a roof panel.
Step 13: Affix roof panels
Align all roof panels and screws LOOSELY (DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY SCREWS) until all the roof panels are aligned accordingly, THEN TIGHTEN all screws to secure the roof panels in place. Use screws and Spacers (Part S, x92) as shown. The diagram shows the final roof panels being attached using screws 5# (x56), 6# (x8), 7# (x24), 10# (x4), and Spacers (S).
Tip: At least two people for this step. ? 2+
Step 14: Cover edge of roof
Attach Finishing bars (Part R9, R10) to Roof bar and Corner Roof bar, then put Finish End (Part R, R1) to cover them using screws 1# (x8) as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows R9, R10, R, R1 parts being attached to the roof edges.
Step 15: Assemble Net Frame
Attach Net Frames (Part P1, Q0) to Finishing Bars (Part P) using screws (1#, x4) and (11#, x8) as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows the net frame parts P1 and Q0 being attached to the frame.
Tip: The perspective drawing is for demonstrating how to assemble the final step that sets up the Net Frame (Parts P1) more effectively.
Step 16: Assemble Net Sidewall
Hang the Mosquito Net (Y0) on the inner rails and the Solid Sidewalls (S0) on the outer rails as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows the S0 sidewalls and Y0 mosquito nets being hung on the gazebo frame, including 10 ft measurements.
Step 17: Align Mosquito Net
When closing the Mosquito Net, refer to the steps below to align it with the poles, as shown in the diagram. The diagram shows a step-by-step process for closing the mosquito net using SY straps.
