Important Warnings
- Please check if the string light is intact before installation.
- Make sure to cut off power before installation.
- Please do not place this light in corrosive conditions.
- If there is any damage on the cord, please cut off the power and stop using it immediately.
- Please do not modify the light within the warranty period.
- To ensure the light works properly, please use the voltage indicated on the packing.
- Please do not use chemical solvent during routine maintenance.

Remote Controller Functions
Note: For optimal experience, press buttons for a longer duration or multiple times.
- On/Off: ▶️ Turns the string light on/off.
- Pair Lock/Unlock: ?/? Press and hold for more than 8 seconds until the lights flash once to disable all buttons, or press again to enable all buttons.
- Scene Modes: ? Press to change between scene modes.
- Adjust Speed: ⏩ Press to speed up or slow down the lighting effect across 5 levels.
- Brightness: ? Press to adjust light brightness across 8 levels.
- Timing: ⏰ Press to set timing for 1, 3, or 6 hours of lighting.
- Color Selection: ? Press to change the color. [Warm White Button] Press to switch color between warm white and multicolor.
- Flash: ⚡ Press to flash the string light.
- Fade: 〰️ Press to fade the string light.
- Random Change: ? Press to change the color automatically.
Remote Controller Notes:
- The remote controller has a memory function, retaining your last setting.
- If the remote becomes insensitive or its detection distance shortens, replace the battery. If issues persist, contact the seller.
Initial Setup
Step 1: Connect String Lights
Connect the string lights as indicated in the diagram [Diagram showing connection of lights with multiple segments].
Step 2: Secure Connections
Firmly screw the wire nut to secure the connection.
Step 3: Power On and Test
Before installation, plug the smart string lights into an outlet to check if all lights work properly. Before hanging, test to confirm the smart string lights can connect to the APP. Note: Please unplug the smart string lights before mounting.
Smart Life App Control
Download the App
Download the 'Smart Life' APP by searching for "Smart Life" in the App Store or Google Play. [QR Code Description: A QR code is provided for downloading the Smart Life APP].
Pairing with the App
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to your home WiFi (2.4GHz).
- Turn on the switch or press the pair button for more than 12 seconds. The device should blink to indicate it's ready for network connection.
- Enable Bluetooth and Location services on your mobile device.
- Open the 'Smart Life' APP, log in with your account, and tap the '+' icon in the upper right corner.
- Follow the on-screen prompts: Click "Go to add" or use "Auto Scan". Select the device from the list and click '+' to add it. Input your home WiFi password and click "Confirm".
- Wait for the pairing process to complete and click "Done". The device will appear on the manage page.
Tips: The device name you set will be used for voice control with Amazon Alexa & Google Home. Please keep it in mind. Device names should consist of English words and Arabic numerals; avoid special characters.
Controlling the Device via App
Modes:
Select from three modes: Static, Festival, or Marquee. Each mode offers five different lighting effects.
Music Sync:
The Flood String Light reacts in real-time to your music.
Color Adjustment:
Choose your desired color. Click "Preview" to see the effect. Click "Save Scene" to save your custom settings on the Customize page.
Timer/Schedule:
Set the light to turn on/off automatically after a countdown (1H, 3H, 6H) or at preset times.
Voice Control with Alexa & Google Assistant
Amazon Alexa Integration
- Ensure your Alexa app is connected to Echo, and both work well under your WiFi network.
- In the Alexa App, tap the top left corner, then tap "Skills".
- Type "Smart Life", find "Smart Life" from the search results, and tap it to enable the skill.
- Enter your Smart Life App account and password. Tap "Link Now", then tap "Authorize" to bind your Smart Life account to Alexa.
- When your Smart Life account is bound to Alexa, tap "DISCOVER DEVICES" to detect the light.
- The named light will be paired to Alexa from Smart Life and appear on the device page.
- Now you can control the light with the Alexa App on the setting page by tapping the bulb icon.
- You can also voice control the light with Alexa using commands like: "Alexa, turn on [device name]", "Alexa, set [device name] to [color]", "Alexa, set [device name] to [percentage]%". The device name is what you assigned in the Smart Life app (e.g., "smart light").
Google Assistant Integration
- Log in to the Google Assistant App and tap "Home Control" on the left side bar.
- Tap the "+" button on the bottom right to enter the next page.
- Find "Smart Life" from the side bar list.
- Enter your Smart Life App account and password to bind your Smart Life account to Google Assistant.
- The named light will appear on the Home Control page.
- You can now control the light on the Google Assistant App or voice control it using commands like: "Ok Google, turn on [device name]", "Ok Google, set [device name] to [color]", "Ok Google, set [device name] to [percentage]%". The device name is what you assigned in the Smart Life app (e.g., "smart light").
Troubleshooting
Issue: Fail to connect to the Smart Life App
- Ensure the string lights are powered on.
- Confirm Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi network on your smartphone are enabled.
- Ensure the string lights are blinking to get ready for network connection.
- Ensure your WiFi password is correct.
- If the WiFi signal is too weak, reset your WiFi router and try again. Alternatively, position your smartphone close to the control box and try again.
Issue: Fail to control the string light with remote controller
- Power on again.
- Please press the button multiple times.
- Press the Lock/Unlock buttons to check whether the button is locked.
