Horizontal Wedge for Wyze Video Doorbell Pro

In the Box

• 1 x Horizontal Wedge: The main mounting bracket.
• 2 x Mount Screws: For securing the wall plate to the wall.
• 2 x Short Screws: For attaching the Wyze Video Doorbell Pro to the wedge.
• 2 x Tiny Screws: For locking the wedge angle.
• 2 x Wall Anchors: For use with mount screws in drywall or softer materials.

Pre-Installation

• Use a magnetic screwdriver for easier screw handling.
• Important: Do not install the tiny screw to lock the Horizontal Wedge before it is secured to the wall. ❌ (Diagram shows incorrect screw placement).

Before installation:

1. Turn off power to your existing video doorbell at the electrical panel. ? Note: Consult a professional electrician before working with electrical wires.
2. Remove your existing doorbell (if any) from the wall.

Installation

1. Gently pull the Horizontal Wedge apart into two pieces. (Diagram shows wedge separation).
2. Mount the wedge's wall plate to the wall using the provided mount screws and wall anchors. Use a 1/8 inch drill bit. (Diagram shows wall plate mounting).
3. Re-attach the main wedge body onto the mounted wall plate, ensuring it clicks firmly. (Diagram shows wedge re-attachment).
4. Install the Wyze Video Doorbell Pro onto the wedge using the provided short screws. (Diagram shows doorbell attachment).
5. Turn on the doorbell and press it against the wall plate until it clicks.
   • Wireless Setting: Attach doorbell directly. (Diagram shows wireless attachment).
   • Wired Setting: Connect doorbell wires first, then attach doorbell. (Diagram shows wired connection and attachment).
6. Check the view in the Wyze app. Adjust the Horizontal Wedge angle and secure with the tiny screws on both sides. (Diagram shows angle adjustment).
7. Lock the doorbell onto the wall plate by tightening the bottom screw. (Diagram shows bottom screw tightening).

Installation with Wasserstein Wall Plate

The Horizontal Wedge is compatible with the Wasserstein wall plate. Align the Wasserstein wall plate with the wedge's wall plate, mount them together onto the wall, and then follow the general installation steps.
