Gwarancja w szczególnoci nie obejmuje uszkodze powstalych w wyniku niewlaciwego lub niezgodnego z instrukcj uytkowania, przechowywania, konserwacji lub transportu Sprztu, a take rónic kolorystycznych midzy czciami naraonymi i nienaraonymi na dzialanie promieniowania slonecznego, wplywu rodków chemicznych lub ciernych, zanieczyszcze atmosferycznych lub przypadkowych przeklu i przetar, obecnoci plam lub piercieni po tlustych lub barwicych substancjach (tluszczach, kremach, balsamach lub olejach), trwalego zabarwienia rodkami barwicymi takimi jak tusze, permanentne markery czy inne nietrwale barwniki stosowane w produkcji odziey (np. barwników uywanych do wytworzenia odziey typu niebieski jeans). 5. Gwarancja nie obejmuje uszkodze mechanicznych Sprztu. 6. Nabywca traci uprawnienia wynikajce z gwarancji w przypadku: a) stwierdzenia przez Producenta, e w okresie gwarancyjnym Sprzt byl naprawiany poza Autoryzowanym Serwisem, b) dokonania w Sprzcie jakichkolwiek modyfikacji konstrukcyjnych bez uprzedniej, pisemnej zgody Producenta, c) uywania Sprztu niezgodnie z jego przeznaczeniem, d) uywania Sprztu po ujawnieniu si w nim wady konstrukcyjnej. 7. Niezalenie od utraty uprawnie gwarancyjnych, opisanych powyej, w punkcie 6, Producent nie ponosi równie odpowiedzialnoci za adne szkody w mieniu lub wyrzdzone osobom trzecim, jakie moe spowodowa uywanie Sprztu objtego gwarancj. 8. Gwarancja nie wylcza, ani te nie ogranicza uprawnie wynikajcych z tytulu rkojmi za wady. Wykonanie uprawnie z gwarancji nie wplywa na odpowiedzialno sprzedawcy z tytulu rkojmi. W razie wykonywania przez Nabywc uprawnie z gwarancji, bieg terminu do wykonania uprawnie z tytulu rkojmi ulega zawieszeniu z dniem zawiadomienia Producenta o wadzie. Termin ten biegnie dalej od dnia odmowy przez Producenta wykonania obowizków wynikajcych z gwarancji albo bezskutecznego uplywu czasu na ich wykonanie. 9. Zasig ochrony gwarancyjnej, ograniczony jest do terytorium pastwa, w którym nastpila sprzeda Sprztu. 11 10. Producent wykona swoje obowizki wynikajce z gwarancji (usunicia wad lub uszkodze konstrukcji Sprztu powstalych z przyczyn tkwicych w Sprzcie, a ujawnionych w okresie gwarancji) bezplatnie w terminie 14 dni od daty dostarczenia Sprztu do Producenta lub Autoryzowanego Serwisu. Jeeli naprawa Sprztu nie moe by wykonana we wskazanym powyej terminie, Producent poinformuje Nabywc o powyszym, a take wskae przyczyny opónienia i przewidywany termin realizacji uznanego dania gwarancyjnego. 11. Skorzystanie z uprawnie gwarancyjnych wymaga lcznego (kumulatywnego) spelnienia czterech warunków: a) przedstawienia faktury VAT, paragonu lub innego dowodu zakupu sprztu przez Nabywc, a nadto dokumentacji fotograficznej wadliwego Sprztu wraz z krótkim opisem powodów zgloszenia roszczenia gwarancyjnego, b) zgloszenia wady w terminie 14 (czternastu) dni od jej wykrycia, c) dostarczenia sprztu w oryginalnym opakowaniu na koszt Producenta, na jego adres wskazany powyej w karcie gwarancyjnej lub na adres Autoryzowanego Serwisu, d) oznaczenia miejsca dostarczenia przez Producenta sprztu po dokonaniu jego naprawy (z ograniczeniem do pastwa, w którym dokonany byl zakup Sprztu). 12. Okres gwarancji ulega przedlueniu o czas trwania naprawy, liczony od dnia dostarczenia Sprztu do Producenta lub Autoryzowanego Serwisu, do dnia w którym Sprzt zostal zwrócony Nabywcy. 13. Do obowizków Producenta lub Autoryzowanego Serwisu naley okrelenie zakresu i sposobu naprawy Sprztu. 14. Gwarancja ograniczona jest do naprawy Sprztu. Producent zastrzega sobie prawo wymiany Sprztu na wolny od wad, w przypadku gdyby naprawa przekraczala cen Sprztu wskazan w dowodzie jego zakupu. Nabywcy, w ramach gwarancji, nie przysluguje danie wymianu Sprztu na nowy. Gwarancja w szczególnoci nie obejmuje odpowiedzialnoci za straty lub szkody powstale u Nabywcy w zwizku z pozbawieniem go moliwoci korzystania ze Sprztu. 15. Producent nie bierze odpowiedzialnoci za uszkodzenia Sprztu powstale w trakcie wykonywania uslugi transportowej przez przedsibiorc przewozowego do chwili jego odbioru przez Producenta od przedsibiorcy przewozowego. 16. Jeeli przesylka Sprztu byla zlecana przez Producenta, obowizkiem Nabywcy jest sprawdzenie stanu technicznego Sprztu przy jego odbiorze. Jeeli Nabywca stwierdzi, e przesylka lub znajdujcy si w niej Sprzt ulegl uszkodzeniu, Nabywca powinien: a) niezwlocznie, nie póniej ni w cigu 3 dni od daty odbioru przesylki, zawiadomi Producenta o wszelkich uszkodzeniach Sprztu, które powstaly w trakcie transportu, w celu umoliwienia Producentowi zgloszenia reklamacji przedsibiorcy transportowemu i dochodzenia zwizanych z tym roszcze, b) dostarczy Producentowi protokól reklamacyjny spisany pomidzy Nabywc i przedsibiorc transportowym. 17. Regulacje dotyczce gwarancji zawarte w niniejszym dokumencie s jedynymi i wylcznymi zasadami gwarancji na produkty HABYS Spólki z ograniczon odpowiedzialnoci. 12 I. GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS 1. Note: This device was tested for compliance with safety performance standards that apply to electricmedical devices. II. INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT 1. Please read the instructions before operation. 2. Do not operate the control unit without connecting the boots. 3. Do not operate the device during transit. 4. Do not store or transport the device beyond the specified temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure ranges. 5. Do not use the device system beyond the specified temperature range: 1030°C (5086°F). 6. Do not use the device beyond the specified humidity range: 3085%rH, non-condensing. 7. Do not use the device above 3000m above mean sea level. 8. To prevent any damage to the device, keep it away from dust, lint, and dirt. Keep away from sources of heat or moisture. 9. Do not inflate the boot without wearing it over the intended body area. Do not inflate the boot "on empty". Doing so can damage the boot. 10. To prevent any damage to equipment, use only accessories, detachable parts, and materials from Thor's Hammer RRS as described in this Instruction Manual. 11. While in use, place the control unit on horizontal firm surface only. Do not place the control unit on bed, blanket, mattress, pillow, or soft furniture. Do not cover the control unit. 12. Use only accessories approved by Thor's Hammer RRS. Other accessories may damage the system or interfere with system function. 13. Portable and mobile RF communication equipment may affect the equipment. 14. In case of abnormal reaction during use, turn off the control unit power switch immediately and unplug the charger. 13 III. BATTERY, CHARGING 1. The lithium-ion battery is an integrated part of the control unit. If it is damaged, the device and battery must not be discarded as household trash. The device and battery must be disposed of as hazardous waste in accordance with all municipal requirements. 2. Do not incinerate a discarded battery. It can explode in a fire. 3. Charge the battery only with the charger supplied with this device. 4. Do not use an extension cord. Plug the charger cord directly into an electrical outlet. 5. Unpacking. Remove all components from the shipping box and remove all packaging from the unit and accessories. Read carefully through this instruction manual and all safety instructions before using. 3. Before operation - the control unit is locked when the product leaves the factory to prevent the device from being accidentally triggered by objects during transportation. How to unlock the Control Unit: a) Plug the charging cord into an outlet and connect to control unit. This will unlock the control unit. b) If you want to lock the control unit again, press and hold the power on/off button for 10 seconds, the buzzer will sound for 2 times, and the main controller is locked. VI. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Please read this manual. · Read the description of the control unit and controls (Figure 1) before using. STEP 2: Set up the Control Unit. · Place the Control Unit on a flat, stable surface from where it will not slip or fall. · Make sure the front of the Control Unit is at least six inches from the edge of the surface. · Position the Control Unit so that you can easily reach the screen during use. STEP 3: Connect the Main Hose Connector to the Right and Left Boots. · Snap each boot's hose connector into Main Hose Connector. · Push firmly, but not too hard. The connectors will click in. STEP 4: Connect the Main Hose Connector to the Control Unit. · Snap the Main Hose Connector into the Hose Connector Port in the Control Panel. · Push firmly, but not too hard. The connector will click in. STEP 5: Preparation for Use. · Do not wear the boots directly over bare skin. · Always wear light clothing (e.g., sweatpants, leggings) underneath the boots for hygienic reasons, to avoid irritation, and to absorb perspiration. · Clothing should be unrestrictive and absorbent, and free of zippers, buttons or other items that could rub and chafe under the compression. · Remove any jewelry, wristwatches, etc. that would be covered by the boot. STEP 6: How to Put On and Take Off the Boots. · Sit down in a comfortable position with legs straight or slightly bent at the knees. · Insert your foot into the boot. Pull the top of the boot towards your torso, extending the boot to its maximum length. · Close the zipper all the way up and leave closed until done with use. · Repeat for other leg. · Zip the boots closed at least part of the way up before inserting your leg. Make sure your entire lower extremity (thigh, leg, foot) is in the boot before inflation. If the boot is too tight, you need a larger size. · Do not inflate the boots with the zippers open. Doing so can damage the boots. · Do not inflate the boots without wearing each boot over the intended body area. Doing so can damage the boots. · Use of excessive force and/or misuse shall void the manufacturer's warranty. · Do not stand or walk while wearing the boots! 16 · Allow the boots to deflate before removing each boot and remove while still seated. · You should be able to slip the boot off and pull it on again for each use without completely unzipping the boot. · Squeeze the remainder of the air out of each boot by gentle pressing on the boots before the next use. EN STEP 7: How to Turn On and Turn Off the Control Unit. · Make sure your control unit has been unlocked. · To turn on, press once the power on/off button (2) on the controller, the OLED screen will become bright and display Hello greeting in many different languages, the buzzer will sound once. · To turn off, press and hold the "power on/off button" for 2S, the screen will be turned off, and the buzzer will sound once. STEP 8: Select the Pressure and Time. · Gently press the MODE BUTTON once. Screen will change to the Mode selector A B C D E. Time starts at 10 minutes and increases in 10-minute increments to 50 minutes. 17 NOTE: We STRONGLY recommend you do not use the boots more than 20 minutes the first time you use the boots. STEP 9: Select the Mode (5 Modes, 8 Compartments). · Pneumatic Compression Modes (PRESSURE in mmHg): A, B, C, D and E. · The MODE is the sequence of filling the 8 compartments in each boot. · Toggle through the Modes (A E) by pressing down on the Mode button. · The columns in below icon represent each chamber in the boot. The illuminated column indicates the chamber that is inflating. Any chamber which remains fully inflated will stay highlighted. It takes approximately 25 seconds for the chambers to inflate. Mode A: Pressure fills one chamber at a time and that chamber deflates while next chamber fills. When the first chamber inflates to the selected pressure, the second chamber begins to inflate and the first chamber deflates. When the second chamber fully inflates, the third chamber begins to inflate and the second chamber deflates. Then the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth inflate and deflate one by one. +A Mode B: Pressure fills one chamber at a time. Each chamber remains inflated while the next one fills until all 8 chambers are inflated. Then, all the 8 chambers deflate together and the cycle repeats. +B Mode C: Pressure fills two chambers at a time and those two chambers deflate while the next two chambers fill. The first and the second chambers inflate to the selected pressure at the same time. When chambers one and two are fully inflated, the third and the fourth chamber begin to inflate while the first and the second chambers begin to deflate. The cycle repeats through the 8 chambers. 18 +C Mode D: Pressure fills two chambers at a time until all 8 are filled. The first and the second chambers inflate EN to the selected pressure. Once fully inflated, the third and the fourth chambers begin to inflate until all 8 chambers are fully inflated. Then, all the 8 chambers deflate together and the cycle repeats. +D Mode E: Pressure fills one chamber at a time and that chamber deflates while next chamber fills. When the first chamber inflates to the selected pressure, the third chamber begins to inflate and the first chamber deflates. When the third chamber fully inflates, the fifth chamber begins to inflate and the third chamber deflates. Then the seventh, second, fourth, sixth and eighth inflate and deflate one by one. +E VII. ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. Pause the Control Unit. · Press the START/PAUSE button. The Control Unit will pause. Press the button again and the Control Unit will restart. For safety reasons, it will slightly deflate the boot and refill and continue the Mode you selected. · When the pause time exceeds 1 minute and there is no further operation, the machine will shut down automatically and the buzzer will sound 1 time. 2. Completion of the Session. · Once the time has expired the Control Unit will turn off and the boots will begin to deflate. · Allow the boots to deflate before you undo the zipper. 3. Battery indicator. · There are 4 bars in the battery indicator icon. A full green screen indicates a full charge. As the battery loses power, it changes from full green, to 3 bars green (75% power), to 2 bars green (50% power), to one bar (25% power). · When there is only 1 grid left, the power indicator will become red and the buzzer will sound once, indicating that battery is low and it needs to be charged. When battery is drained, the control unit will shut down automatically and the buzzer will sound once, then, the battery completely loses power. · During charging: the 4 bars will illuminate one by one until the all-green full charge. 19 4. Charging The Control Unit. · Fully charge the battery before using it for the first time. It can take up to 5 hours to fully charge. · Plug the Charger Adapter into an electrical outset, the buzzer will sound once. · The device can keep working while it's in charging process. In this situation, the battery charging indicator on the screen will illuminate one by one until the all-green full charge. · When the device is charged while it's turned off, and the screen will display the charging status. After the first charge, the control unit will take 2 - 4 hours to fully charge. 5. Use the main controller during charging. The main controller can be used while it's charging, however pls be kindly noted: Don't use the main controller when it is in extremely low battery, in this case, the controller can't be turned on while it's charging. VIII. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Please turn off the control unit power button and unplug the power plug before cleaning. Use a wet cloth (water only) to wipe the surface of the control unit. Do not use gasoline, alcohol, benzene, etc. to wipe the pump. The air boot can be wiped with an alcohol wipe. After cleaning, let the control panel and boots dry and store them in the case provided. 20 IX. WARRANTY CONDITIONS 1. For the purposes of the guarantee: a) "Manufacturer" refers to HABYS Spólka z ograniczon odpowiedzialnoci (Limited Liability Company) with its registered seat in Jaslo, ul. Produkcyjna 16, 38-200 Jaslo, entered into the EN Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court in Rzeszów, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, with the assigned KRS number: 0000513317, with the share capital in the amount of PLN 10.750.000 (ten million seven hundred fifty thousand zlotys), the capital has been fully paid up, NIP: 6852208438, REGON: 180186290. b) "Buyer" refers to the final Buyer of the equipment, manufactured by the Manufacturer, including both the consumer and the entrepreneur. c) "Distributor" refers to an entity that, under an agreement with the Manufacturer, sells the Equipment in a designated area. d) "Authorized Service Centre" refers only to a service held by the Manufacturer or a service indicated by the Manufacturer and held by its Distributor, e) "Equipment" refers to a movable item, manufactured by the Manufacturer, being the subject of the sales and to which the said warranty applies. 2. The manufacturer ensures good quality and efficient operation of the equipment for which the warranty card has been issued, for the period of: 2 years for constructional elements, 2 years for upholstered elements. 3. The guarantee repair does not include the activities provided for in the manual, which the Buyer is obliged to perform on his own (installation of the Equipment, maintenance of the Equipment, etc.). 4. Liability under the guarantee covers only defects resulting from causes inherent in the Equipment., In particular, the guarantee does not cover any damage resulting from improper or inconsistent use, storage, maintenance or transport of the Equipment, as well as colour differences between the parts exposed and not exposed to solar radiation, the influence of chemical or abrasive agents, atmospheric pollution or accidental punctures and abrasions, the presence of stains or rings from greasy or dying substances (fats, creams, lotions or oils), permanent staining with dyes such as inks, permanent markers or other non-permanent dyes used in the production of clothing (e.g. dyes used to make blue jeans). 5. The guarantee does not cover any mechanical damage to the Equipment. 6. The buyer loses the guarantee rights in the event of: a) the Manufacturer states that the Equipment was repaired by entity other than the Authorized Service, b) making any design modifications to the Equipment without the prior written consent of the Manufacturer, c) using the Equipment contrary to its intended use, d) using the Equipment after revealing any defect in it. 7. Regardless of the loss of the guarantee rights, described above, in point 6, the Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to property or caused to third parties, which may be caused by the use of the Equipment covered by the guarantee. 8. The guarantee does not exclude or limit the rights resulting from the warranty for defects. Exercising the rights under the guarantee does not affect the seller's liability under the warranty for defects. If the Buyer exercises the rights under the guarantee, the time limit for the exercise of the rights under the warranty for defects is suspended on the date the Manufacturer is notified of the defect. The period runs further from the date of the Manufacturer's refusal to perform the obligations arising from the guarantee or the ineffective expiry of the time for their performance. 9. The scope of the guarantee coverage is limited to the territory of the country in which the Equipment was sold. 21 10. The Manufacturer shall perform its obligations under the guarantee (removal of defects or damage to the structure of the Equipment arising from reasons inherent in the Equipment, and disclosed during the guarantee period) free of charge within 14 days from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre. If the repair of the Equipment cannot be performed within the above-mentioned period, the Manufacturer shall inform the Buyer of the above, and also indicate the reasons for the delay and the expected date of fulfilment of the recognized guarantee request. 11. The use of the guarantee rights requires the total (cumulative) fulfilment of four conditions: a) presenting a VAT invoice, receipt or other proof of purchase of the equipment to the Manufacturer, photographic documentation of the defective Equipment, together with a brief description of the reasons for submitting a guarantee claim, b) reporting the defect within 14 (fourteen) days of its detection, c) delivering the Equipment in original packaging at the expense of the Manufacturer, to the address indicated above in the guarantee card or to the address of the Authorized Service Centre, d) designation of the place where the Manufacturer delivers the equipment after repairing it (limited to the country in which the Equipment was purchased). 12. The guarantee period is extended for the duration of the repair, starting from the date of delivery of the Equipment to the Manufacturer or to the Authorized Service Centre, to the date on which the Equipment was returned to the Buyer. 13. The responsibility of the Manufacturer or the Authorized Service Centre is to define the scope and the method of repairing the Equipment. 14. The guarantee is limited to the repair of the Equipment. The Manufacturer reserves the right to replace the Equipment with a non-defective one, if the repair exceeds the price of the Equipment indicated in the proof of purchase. Under the guarantee, the Buyer shall not be entitled to demand that the Equipment be replaced with a new one. The guarantee, in particular, does not cover liability for losses or damages incurred by the Buyer in connection with the fact that one is not able to use the Equipment. 15. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage to the Equipment caused during the performance of the transport service by the delivery company until it is collected by the Manufacturer from the delivery company. 16. If the shipment of the Equipment was ordered by the Manufacturer, the Buyer is obliged to check the technical condition of the Equipment upon its receipt. If the Buyer finds that the Equipment has been damaged during the transport, the Buyer is obliged to: a) immediately, not later than within 3 days from the date of receipt of the shipment, notify the Manufacturer of any damage to the Equipment that occurred during transport, in order to enable the Manufacturer to submit a complaint to the delivery company and pursue related claims, b) provide the Producer with a complaint report drawn up between the Buyer and the delivery company. 17.
