Troubleshooting Common Issues
- Stylus cannot connect to Bluetooth: If the stylus powers on with a green light and can be used for writing but not connecting to Bluetooth, check iPad Bluetooth settings. If more than 5 devices are connected, ignore all Bluetooth devices, restart the stylus, and reconnect to "P12". This may be due to too many conflicting Bluetooth connections.
- Loose or rotating stylus tip: Replace the stylus tip with a new one and tighten it properly for normal usage.
-
Stylus not working:
- a. If the stylus powers on with a red light that quickly turns off, the battery is low and needs charging.
- b. If the stylus powers on without light, it may be in deep sleep mode. Connect the stylus directly to a Type-C adapter for wired charging. The indicator light will turn red and breathe, indicating normal charging. Charge for about 20 minutes before use.
-
Green light is on but unable to write:
- a. If you previously used an original stylus, go to Bluetooth settings and ignore its connection.
- b. Reinstall the provided stylus tip and try writing again.
-
Green light is on but there is a disconnect:
- a. Ensure the stylus tip is properly tightened. A broken tip can cause disconnects.
- b. Ensure the iPad screen is clean and free from oil or water.
- c. Check the thickness of the iPad screen protector, as a thick protector can affect the connection.
