Owner's Manual - Original Instructions
User Notice
- Never install the wired controller in a moist circumstance or expose it directly under sunlight.
- Never beat, throw, or frequently disassemble the wired controller and the wireless remote controller.
- Never operate the wired controller and the wireless remote controller with wet hands.
- Do not remove or install the wired controller by yourself. If there is any question, please contact the after-sales service center.
- The wired controller is a general model, applicable for several kinds of units. Some functions of the wired controller are not available for certain kinds of units. Refer to the owner's manual of the unit for more details. The setting of such unavailable functions will not affect the unit's operation.
- The wired controller is universal. The remote receiver is either in the indoor unit or in the wired controller. Please refer to the specific models.
- For some indoor units connected with the wired controller, if the remote controller is used whose set temperature is adjustable under auto mode, the wired controller will receive the mode signal of the remote controller, rather than its set temperature under the auto mode.
- The wired controller is a universal component. When an indoor unit is connected with the wired controller, the display status of the indoor unit is decided by the indoor unit. Valid and invalid statuses are considered normal.

1 Symbols on LCD
1.1 Outside View of the Wired Controller
The wired controller features a display screen and several buttons for operation. The display shows various icons and settings, including Wi-Fi status, operation mode, fan speed, temperature, and timer settings. The buttons include SWING/ENTER, TIMER, MODE, FUNCTION, FAN, and ON/OFF.
1.2 LCD of the Wired Controller
The LCD screen displays various symbols and information related to the air conditioning unit's operation. These include:

2 Buttons
2.1 Buttons on the Wired Controller
The wired controller has the following buttons:

There are totally four options, as follows: ① Indoor ambient temperature is sensed by the return air temperature sensor (01 displayed on the timer area). ② Indoor ambient temperature is sensed by the wired controller (02 displayed on the timer area). ③ The return air temperature sensor is selected under the cooling, dry, or fan mode; while the wired controller temperature sensor is selected under the heating or auto mode. (03 is displayed on the timer area). ④ The wired controller temperature sensor is selected under the cooling, dry, or fan mode; while the return air temperature sensor is selected under the heating mode. (04 is displayed on the timer display area). |
2+5 | TIMER+FUNCTION | Under OFF state, it is available to go to the commissioning status by pressing "FUNCTION” and “TIMER” for five seconds. 3 Operation Instructions
3.1 ON/OFF
Press ON/OFF to turn the unit on and off. Figure 4 shows the "OFF" state after power on, and Figure 5 shows the "ON" state after power on.

3.2 Mode Setting
Under the "ON" state, press MODE to cycle through the operation modes: Auto-Cooling-Dry-Fan-Heating.

3.3 Temperature Setting
Press the Up (▲) or Down (▼) buttons to increase or decrease the preset temperature. Continuous pressing will adjust the temperature by 1°C (1°F) every 0.5s. The temperature setting range is 16°C~30°C (61°F~86°F) for Cooling, Dry, Fan, or Heating modes. In Auto mode, the setting temperature is unadjustable.
Note: If the wired controller receives signals from a remote controller, it can analyze the temperature adjustment function of the automatic mode of the remote controller. This requires an indoor unit with the automatic mode temperature adjustment function.

3.4 Fan Setting
Under the "ON" state, press FAN to cycle through the fan speeds: Auto, Low, Medium low, Medium, Medium high, High.

3.5 Timer Setting
Under the "ON"/"OFF" state, press Timer to set the timer. For timer on, press Timer, the LCD will display "xx.x hour" with "hour" blinking. Use ▲ or ▼ to adjust the timing value, then press SWING/ENTER to confirm. For timer off, press Timer; if "xx.x hour" is not displayed, the timer setting is canceled. Figure 8 illustrates timer off setting under the "ON" state.
The timer range is 0.5-24 hours. Each press of ▲ or ▼ adjusts the set time by 0.5hr. Continuous pressing adjusts the set time by 0.5hr every 0.5s.

3.6 Up & Down Swing Setting
There are two ways for up and down swing: simple swing and fixed swing. Under off status, press “SWING/ENTER” and ▲ simultaneously for 5 seconds to switch between simple and fixed swing. When set to simple swing, press “SWING/ENTER” while the unit is on to activate it; press again to turn it off. When set to fixed swing, press “SWING/ENTER” to cycle through the swing modes.

3.7 Left & Right Swing Setting
Swing On: Press FUNCTION under the unit's ON state to activate swing. The swing icon will blink. Press SWING/ENTER to confirm.
Swing Off: When swing is on, press FUNCTION to enter the swing setting interface. The swing icon will blink. Press SWING/ENTER to cancel the function.
Figure 9 shows the swing setting process.
Note: Sleep, Turbo, or X-fan settings follow the same procedure as Swing setting. After setting, press SWING/ENTER to return to the previous status or it will quit automatically after five seconds.

3.8 Fresh Air Valve Function Setting
Turn on fresh air valve function: Under unit ON status, press FUNCTION to select “Fresh air valve” option. When the icon flashes, enter fresh air valve setting mode. The level of fresh air valve is displayed. Use ▲ or ▼ to adjust the level from 1 to 10. Press SWING/ENTER to activate.
Turn off fresh air valve function: If the function is set, press FUNCTION to select “Fresh air valve”. When the icon flashes, pressing SWING/ENTER without pressing ▲ or ▼ cancels the function. Pressing SWING/ENTER after pressing ▲ or ▼ activates the function.
Note: Setting fresh air valve ON also activates ventilation (ventilation 1). Setting it OFF cancels ventilation.

3.9 Sleep Setting
Sleep On: Press FUNCTION under the unit's ON state until the Sleep setting interface appears. Press SWING/ENTER to confirm.
Sleep Off: When Sleep is activated, press FUNCTION to enter the Sleep setting interface. Press SWING/ENTER to cancel.

3.10 Turbo Setting
The Turbo function utilizes high fan speed for rapid cooling or heating to quickly reach the set temperature. In Cooling or Heating mode, press FUNCTION until the Turbo setting interface appears, then press SWING/ENTER to confirm. To cancel Turbo, press FUNCTION to enter the interface and then press SWING/ENTER.
Figure 12 illustrates the Turbo function setting.

3.11 Energy Saving Function Setting
Turn on energy saving function:
- For Cooling: When the unit is in COOL or DRY mode, press FUNCTION to select the "SAVE" option. With "SAVE" flashing, use ▲ or ▼ to adjust the lower limit, then press SWING/ENTER to activate.
- For Heating: When the unit is in HEAT mode, press FUNCTION to select the "SAVE" option. With "SAVE" flashing, use ▲ or ▼ to adjust the upper limit, then press SWING/ENTER to activate.
Note: In energy saving mode, press “MODE” to switch between COOL and HEAT settings.
Cancel energy saving function: If the function is set, press FUNCTION to select "SAVE". When the "SAVE" icon flashes, pressing SWING/ENTER without pressing ▲ or ▼ cancels the function. Pressing SWING/ENTER after pressing ▲ or ▼ activates the function.
Figure 13 shows the Energy Saving Function Setting.

3.12 E-heater Setting
The E-heater (auxiliary electric heating function) can be turned on in Heating mode for improved efficiency. It activates automatically once the wired controller or remote controller enters Heating mode. Press FUNCTION in Heating mode to enter the E-heater setting interface and press SWING/ENTER to cancel. If the function is not activated, press FUNCTION to enter the interface and SWING/ENTER to turn it on.
Figure 14 shows the E-heater setting.
